Trust me we've got plenty of enemies.... and a plot. I'm just waiting for a certain two characters to make themselves convenient so I can recruit them rather than wave the magic hand and say they are on the ship.

 

Although for the sake of time and ADD I might just do that.

Last post ends with Avan logging into a Terminal at the Presidium. I could write his recruitment, but I kind of Dont want to write much for Naleena until after catching up all the way with the story.

Let's not get overly optimistic here!

The commandos have flavor but they are npcs.  They were designed to have particular character traits and I don't want to lay particular claim to them even though I started writing them.  RedBelle is, imo, doing brilliantly with them in taking them over for a scene.  I wrote parts added only because there were a few extra things to throw in based on their character if someone like Jenus went and actually biotically struck out at someone.  Here's the quick and dirty on how they were designed:

Jenus is a jock.  Not a bully, but one who is going to challenge people.  She likes people who rise to the occasion.  Its her way of testing character.  Sometimes she goes too far (like she clearly did in the RB part) but in the end, she's shooting in the same direction as the players.

Mira is her opposite. Mira is religious, generally quiet, and prone to reading and word puzzles.  She is not promiscuous in the least, and couldn't talk for long at anyone's party.  She's responsible to the point of being boring and while sometimes people like breaking the mold on the types like Mira, its like gravity for her and she'll always return to her ways.  She's a consumate nerd and actually, she likes that about herself.  Having said that, crossing the line with her can have some consequences....

 

Iole is absolutely a party girl.  She's also a techno geek with a sense of humor.  Nothing seems to last with her and constant change is what she likes.  There could be a mold breaking with her, though.  Actually probably by someone who is a little like her and a little not.  But she's fun.  She just also has a fetish for weaponry, and isn't very strong at biotics.

 

Tallis....Tallis is hard not to love but really strange.  She has a condition.  Plus, bad things always seem to happen to Tallis.  She's a follower and not a leader, and changes sides between the social battles that happen between Mira and Jenus.  But she likes them both, really.  And nothing lasts long for Tallis.  She's an in the moment kind of person.  If you can ever get to know her through her double sentences and truly odd behavior.

 

Mira is the one in charge.  Because she's the responsible one.  But she only takes charge if and when she needs to.  She's a very hands off leader, having been chosen rather than requesting to be one.

And Selani is a hard ass. She's the Commander. Two years ago she commanded the Asari Frigate Cyone at the Battle of the Citadel. She was a Lt. Cmdr. then. Her existence allows Naleena to leave the ship. Commanding officers only go on ground missions in Mass Effect and Star Trek, and Shepard only because of Spectre. Clearly in ME3 there was no chain of command. In ME1 there was - XO Pressley. So Commander Selani has the deck. She'll take orders from Naleena - take us to blah blah blah. If we have to engage in combat or avoid combat, Selani is in charge. Naleena doesn't know how to do that with a ship. This frees up Jess to take part in the mission.
