Frank walks into the bathroom to see a collector brushing its frontal carapice. It looks to frank, toothbrush in hand, and goes "BRZZZZZZZZZZZ" which translates to "Sup."

I can't believe I didn't do anything with that.
Then again, I had just started posting around the train job, and there wasn't really time.

Ah yes, "Collectors." - it's just that no one wants anyone to panic. No one interviewed it. "Assuming control of this form. We are Harbinger. I will show you true power."
Essul listens to Citadel News Net, but doesn't listen to Cluster to Cluster. I'm going to post those periodically after major incidents just for fun because we know the Council denies everything.

VERA does have limitations. Like I said before, think EDI.
Here are the places you will have privacy: your quarters, the lavatories (although there are panic buttons in all rooms).

All honesty though essul is a bit of a straight and narrow kind of guy, so you nailed him pretty well up there.

You'll hear about the broadcasts in "aside" conversations in bars among some of the more "paranoid" patrons.

I like those podcasts. Could be an interesting way for the characters to learn important things.

Just found my old doc which has all my old RP chars on it. That's a lot of really half-baked ideas on one place, and canon flip-offs.

Yes, going through old characters, in my experience, is nostalgia triggering.

Yeah! I've only been RPing for a year now (with a hiatus between my last RP and CS of a few months), but there's still enough content for me to get nostalgic over... It's nice.
Here's my list on docs.
I've RP'd... Three Turians, an Asari, two Humans, a Quarian, a Salarian, a Geth and also a Rachni. Only leaves Drell, Batarians, and Krogan for player species... Hadn't noticed that before.

Ahhh. Bobby Blazebringer.... I haven' thought of him in so long. A D&D 3rd ed ranger of the forest with a fascination for fire.....

NOTE TO EVERYONE: When you write conversation for VERA, she does not use contractions. In other words, no "I'm"; "doesn't"; "don't"; "haven't"; etc.

It's coming! It'ssss coming!

Okay, if you haven't found it, I'll go and send you a summary by PM in about 40 minutes after I get to work. After that, I'm going to post some general stuff up that everybody can know as writers/rpg ers here in the discussion. Hopefully that helps.

Retaking the Medusa
This upcoming event is meant to be a group effort, and it references many things that have been layed out in the story already. At a minimum, three subjects of the story are deeply involved. They are: Naleena and the Janiri (so of course everything associated with our fearless current Spectre and the ship we are on is tied in), the Medusa which is RedBelle’s creation, and Iyana and her people, which are my creation.
Going against this enemy is meant to be a fight against a real Bad AssTM. You can reference Iyana and her main lieutenant for this encounter, Golt, from the Chasing Spectres: Index. Basically, while Golt is someone who can go down in this fight, he is a freaking beast, and should be taken after a substantial effort from multiple players. This is not a one shot kill. In fact, if you reference Golt, there may be more than one killing blow that’s needed. As far as Iyana is concerned, she is a reoccurring villain, and at least supposed to be on par with the serious opponents of the MEU…so call it at least as strong as Tela Vasir, with the potential to become a Saren or a TIM. In fact, that’s where it’s headed. So Iyana, while being encountered, is designed as someone who’s going to be defeated by getting away so to speak. She shouldn’t be killed, maimed, one shotted, or any of that stuff because she’s just too powerful. Iyana is a Magneto, or a General Zod (well if you are Superman) or a Kahn Noonien Singh. She’s not Boba Fett. At least that’s what I’m asking.
The minions who have taken over the ship are not push overs either, though they are grunts. You might one shot them, or two or three shot them, or more. But they aren’t a bunch of banditos to be flattened en masse. It takes effort to kill each individually, or if they are killed in multiples, the setup should take effort, so for example you might have to lure them into a grenade trap, or fight the multiples for a while before they go down. It is basically 40 or so weird mutant types and 20 or so mercenaries. They are NOT all in the same place! J You’ll probably encounter them in groups of an equal size or slightly larger than the party….so if Vayne, Frank, and Avan are together, let’s say you meet a total of 3-7 of them in one go.
Now, while the mercs and mutant types will shoot the same direction, they do not work with each other tactically. That’s because the mercs are money driven murderers and the mutants are driven psychotic homicidal maniacs.
Beyond that, I don’t want to define the grunts too much. They are for you to fight and take down in all your character awesomeness. It should be tough but I hope you all write your characters to shine in these combats, overcoming what is clearly a difficult fight.
Finally, there are 3 members of Jess’ old crew aboard. There is one undefined, one ship’s doctor, and Luscious. I’d ask that none of these be killed, except that Luscious should be left for Jess to deal with. It is a story thing, you know. It is surely to be one of her character’s defining moments.
I intend to introduce more, placing the setting like a narrator as we go, and even doing some behind the scenes collaboration with you guys. That doesn’t mean I have a stick up my butt about input or letting you guys take over. This isn’t some tyranny here, this is the BSN rpg section where people are free to post. For the most part, I want to coordinate with you peeps so we have what turns out to be an awesome story where in the end, the people who shine, or are appropriately challenged, are our player characters.
There. Tl;dr for you, I’m sure J

Actually, that's something I'd like him to experience. Shouldn't be too hard on a ship full of asari.
