What do you think is the fastest way to earn credits? What map, what enemies, what characters? Silver, gold or platinum? Solo, 2, 3 or 4 people in a team?

Actually, I don't understand what affects the amount of credits I get after a game, but it certainly doesn't depend on my score very much, so full team FTW.

3. Speedrunning FB Jade with a skilled team, consisting of players that use mics, Armored Compartments V and at least two Drell Infiltrators.

Play with your friends on the highest difficulty y'all are comfortable playing and credits will just fall into your pocket. Also, stalk an awesome player, pretend not to have any good gear and look like you're "trying". Watch as the player enters "anime mode" and carries you (beware; you may end up the topic of someone's thread). One more option; buy a capture card and offer to record Platinum solos by bleeding out every wave.

Speedruns are the quickest (legit) way to earn credits. 4 people on Platinum with Armored Compartments V on either Jade, Glacier, or Goddess are likely the quickest/easiest maps.

Xbox Jade Platinum 7:09

(That is just an example, search Mass Effect 3 speedrun on youtube and there will be lots that pop up)

Grinding platinum for credits. Glacier speed runs or semi speed runs with a lot of spawn nuking.

^Pretty much this.

Optional :

-spawn nukin' speedrun on Glacier/Jade

-farming Reapers/Giant/Platinum.. however with pugs, playing just gold might be way more efficient (credits/time ratio).

Stumble into N7 Andrea's lobby...

But seriously, you play at your own level until you're good enough and well equipped enough to play at the next difficulty, and you repeat the process until you've gone as far as you think you can go. There's no trick to it. Try to take a shortcut and all you get is a rougher ride; you don't get there any sooner.

As for varying credit levels, the amount of credits depends on difficulty, the time taken to complete the objectives, and whether or not you extracted.

Well the problem is, to play well I need equipment and to get equipment I need credits, hence my question - how to get a lot of credits as fast as possible. I should have perhaps added that I'm looking for advices that do not involve rare high level equipment or mad skills. But the speedrun video linked above is very interesting, I'll be certainly looking more into that.

Dude there's no short cut here unless you don't mind hacking your credits.
If you really like the game and wish to learn more, get more stuff, just play with friends on difficulties you are comfortable with, experiment with different weapons and kits to ultimately find your likes and dislikes. And in the process you'll earn both money and experience/skill.

Could you link your manifest? People could give you more specific advise.

Playing on Bronze gives you the money necessary to buy Recruit Packs, which gives you the stuff you need to succeed on Bronze and Silver.

Playing on Silver gives you the money to buy Veteran Packs, which gives you the stuff to succeed on Silver and Gold.

Playing on Gold gives you the money to buy Spectre Packs, which gives you the stuff to succeed on Gold and Platinum.

Playing on Platinum gives you the money to buy Arsenal Packs, which gives you the stuff to succeed on Platinum.

There are no shortcuts, only false paths to tempt the foolish. The fastest way to get credits is to play at your level and buy at your level.

If you try to buy above your level, you will get low level guns that are in most cases worse than Level X guns of your current level, with less mods, Gear and consumables to support them. It takes 3 Silver matches to earn 1 Arsenal Pack, which gets you 2 Rares. There are 25 Rare guns. The same amount of games would get you 5 Veteran Packs, which gets you (in addition to 6x as much Gel/Ops/Rocket/Clip and a lot more consumables/mods/gears) 5 Uncommons . There are 11 Uncommon guns. Hopefully it doesn't take a maths genius to figure out where I'm going with that.

If you try to play above your level, at best you will get carried by some frustrated-but-resigned veteran player who will curse your name, you get the satisfying feeling of being a leech and glorified decoy, and you take longer in learning how to survive without someone holding your hand. At worst, you get in a game full of fellow leeches and fail spectacularly, wasting time you could have spent succeeding on a lower difficulty and getting paid, and maybe even having fun.

What I'm trying to say is: the game has more than enough shortsighted useless idiot leeches clogging up the higher difficulty lobbies. Don't be one of them.

PS: if I'm coming off hostile here, know that it's nothing personal. It's just bitterness built from so much time wasted searching for lobbies that are no more than 50% leech..

Gold PUGs have had a lot of CP<1000 players recently... they end up being that guy with 15 downs and 18,000 points. Don't be that guy. It's not fun for us (regular gold players) and I'm sure it isn't fun for them.

this. while i can't really make an assumption of your skill level without a manifest link mr. TC, you should just stick to silver and amass credits that way. might not be fast, but silver should be simple enough (guess it depends on the lobby) to be efficient.

unless your manifest is super fancy with a bunch of level x rares, in which case go nuts with speedrunning lobbies lol

You get a set amount of credits for completing each objective wave, plus a small added bonus that varies according to the time you needed to finish the objective.

So the fastest way to earn credits is to finsh each game as fast as you can. The people above me already mentioned the speed runs that can be done on Glacier/Jade. Aside from that, what I can add is that the higher the difficulty, the better your survivability and damage output must be. From Gold up, the most important thing is dishing out huge amounts of damage as fast as possible. On Plat - it's staying alive to dish out said damage.

Characters that are very basic, very powerful and require little equipment are the vanilla humans, especially Adept, Infiltrator and Soldier.

For the Adept(6/6/6/0/6) all the weapons you need are any SMG<Hornet<Hurricane (with recoil dampener lvl 5 for the last one). If you have it, you can also add the Crutchcolyte in order to easily strip phantoms' barrier and trap them in singularity.

For the Infiltrator, you can make a sniper(6/6/0/6/6) or a shotgun infiltrator(4/6/6/6/4). For the Sniper, you need Mantis<Widow<Black Widow, for the Shottie  - any Shotgun until you get the Claymore. then you are set.

For the Soldier(6/0/6/6/6)  - Claymore + Grenade gear (the higher the level the better - more grenades).

Nuking spawns on waves 5, 8 and 9 generally make things go a lot faster. On Geth/Plat you may also want to nuke wave 2.

The easiest enemy on Gold IMO are Reapers, so long as you are mindful of the Banshees. On Plat, I'd prefer Collectors, unless you are good at dealing with phantoms and dragoon rushes - then Cerb. Geth are a pain and Reapers have an uncomfortable amount of Geth Hunters, which is a problem if you are not using the Geth Scanner.

Giant is the easiest map, Glacier and Jade are the fastest if you know what you're doing. FB White is also very good, but you need to funnel the enemy through the basment and the stairs, otherwise it gets complicated. Please don't be the idiot who hangs out in the basement and denies the best possible spawn point. Maps to avoid are Condor, London and tha Hazard variations.

Gear - once you've sorted out your commons and uncommons, you'll want to start buying Arsenal/Spectre packs. IMO, its best to save up money, buy packs in bulk (no less than 10 or 15 in a buying "session"). That way you're less dpendent on the RNG fortunes. Oh, and don't be a scrooge and buy Jumbo packs whenever you don't have enough consumables. Using consumables makes things go faster, plus it's impolite to let your teammates carry you.

Without using a ton of missiles, gels, etc. Platinum/Giant/Cerberus matches can be done in 20-23 minutes by holding the LZ with 3 decent teammates. Or speedrunning Glacier.

Thanks a lot for the advices guys, especially OniGanon and xelander. The thought about buying lower level packs to upgrade lower level weapons (some of which have very appealing stats and lvl X) has crossed my mind, but then I lost this thought and only bought APs, RPs and elite SPs so far. I will downstep to VPs for now. And since I'm very comfortable on Silver with human Vanguard (and only this single character of all I've tried so far), I will keep farming Silver till I get good gear, and then until I can beat top score with some character other than human vanguard.

Being a top scorer on silver is not a benchmark for getting into gold. I would also encourage you to try other kits as well, you never know when you might discover something new and fun.

To your success :D

Didn't imply it is, but when I watch xcal wreck with N7 Paladin, and then I take this character and can barely stay alive competing for the 3rd place on the scoreboard - that's a hint I'm doing something wrong.

To your success :D

Thanks!

I dont see the point of speedrunning (but it might be fun once or twice). Loosing time for "gaining" time with equipment ? :) Seems to me that having fun all the time is the better way :)

The most efficient way to earn credits is to do the following:

Step 1. Go to a local Walmart.

Step 2. Buy some PSN cards.

Step 3. Enter the codes on PSN.

Step 4. Launch ME3MP.

Step 5. Buy all the packs you want with PSN money.
