Iron Bull is Triple H????

Then yes, he will win the wrestling match. HHH likes to bury other wrestlers  plus, Hogan is getting a bit frail these days.

hmmm well i felt that Blackwall would need a classic theme since he is the elder in this match up.  B)

Only by having a Motorhead theme Iron Bull wins. Lemmy is god.

Well of course :)  love Moterhead

That was wonderful. Sigh if this game had a harem ending, this is what I'd want it to look like.

I so wait for the moment Blackwall's romance ends due his Calling and only The Architect would be able to save him,but your Warden killed him in Awakening.

There's too many good warriors in this game. It's going to be hard to choose who to take out mot of the time.

Although blackwall is 100% my go to guy if the wardens are even at all involved.

Heck I might end up going out with all three all the time. Hear them banter about how to properly smash in a gate.

Easy your the healer, your team are three warriors, and you do all the money quest to make up for the lack of boxes (A.K.A be fried with Scribs).

Soooo... not sure if this had already been brought up at some point.

But I am currently replaying DA2 and ran across the History of Kirkwall: Chapter 2.

It contained something I didn't make much note of in the past, but now considering Blackwall's name, I wonder if it has more significance (such as where his family originated, possibly?):

As the Imperium's borders slowly receded after the devastation of the First Blight and the subsequently barbarian invasion, many outposts in the area known today as the Free Marches, were cut off from centers of power. Numerous warlords tried consolidating the region into a single kingdom, but resistance prevailed. Emerius held out for almost a century before it fell to a slaverevolt in 25 Ancient.

It was not the first of such revolt Emerius suffered but it was the last.

It started when an Alamarri slave named Radun began earning popularity and power by pushing for better conditions. Radun's growing influence prevented the magisters from touching him, but eventually they had him poisoned. Furious, a group of Radun's supporters stormed the gallows and were massacred, and so began a bloody yearlong rebellion.

The city burned, and wealthy hightown was sacked. The magisters hung before cheering crowds. Emerius assumed the new name of Kirkwall, "kirk" meaning "black", after its jet stone cliffs. The new city plunged into anarchy for over a decade, and its defenses fell into ruin. Kirkwall has been conquered many times since, the city's own independence suffering since the freeing of its slaves.

Seems the name of Kirkwall is, quite literally, Blackwall.  :o

Now the big question is if it's intentional or a coincidence. It feels too perfect not to be  intentional (Blackwall's scottish right? Just like the original Kirkwall) but it's also a slightly obscurer piece of lore, so it could be a coincidence as well. If it is intentional what was the intention behind it? Is it a metaphor of some sort, comparing Blackwall to Kirkwall in some way? Or does it hint to secrets about Blackwall's past?

Yeah, we haven't gotten a hint of Blackwall's more fun side since that concept art with Sera doing the fisting Joke, but I'm happy to hear it's still there in some capacity. I will definitely be making use of Team Vulgar for my mage playthrough. Also happy to hear that the Blackwall-Varric-Viv party is Team "Grim Determination", that's exactly what I intended to use them for.

Interesting. However, if there's a link between them, I doubt is something very important. For example, he could be called that among the Orlesian Wardens because he came from Kirkwall? That would make Blackwall a Free Marcher.
