I've been on the Blackwall bandwagon since I saw art of that glorious man

Yeah, I remember when they were showing off the first concept arts of Cass and Blackwall (of course at the time they were presented as hypothetical examples) and I was like "BUT WHO IS THAT BEARDED MAN"

 

and then I went to PAX Prime 2013 and was watching the big presentation and saw that artwork briefly on the screen and I was like

 

 

I'll be at PAX Prime 2014 and I suspect it will be more of the same.

For the longest time I just referred to him as Hunky McBeardy Warden xD

 

and that picture may or may not have been my screen saver for a long while 

 

As SOON as I saw that picture though my reaction was more or less 'I'll be okay if I don't get Varric IF I can have this guy instead' ^^;

Confession time: Blackwall barely made a blip on my radar when he appeared in the concept art (which is highly irregular because I do like me handsome older men). I was more like "Oh, manpain rain shot. Jovial laughter, ok."

 

Until the first Inquisition story trailer.

 

When we saw all 12 main players assembled around the table, I was like "Wha, smokin' bara"---you know what, this pretty much says it all accurately:

Which goes to show, you never know when you'll get that little push into that black(wall) abyss with no hope of escape.

 

If Varric is a pipe-dream, his exalted beardiness will do much nicely for my dorf inquisitor ;w;

I remember seeing that comic though I had/have no idea who that other guy was ^^; (still wish they had kept that grey in Blackwall's beard though it added to that sexy older look her has)
