I wouldn't use the word barbarian. I would say he is more natural, rustic and aged like a fine wine or ale. Dorian is my champagne. Josephine is my wine. But, sometimes you just want a beer, and I would drink one with Blackwall any day.

As an atheist I don't care, but having fun from the torture scenes? And I don't think these images are comfortable for religious people. This thread has low traffic as it is.

I think he's going to seek you out at least thats what it sounded like to me in what I read about his information (though I could be misinterpreting that) so I doubt we'll stumble upon him or have to rescue him......actually we could get a missive from him and on the way there we could be attacked by darkspawn so that could work as well after all I doubt there won't be any darkspawn in a DA game with the wardens in it even if they are not the main focus.

But with the world spiraling out of control, Blackwall sees the Inquisition as Thedas's last hope to restore order, and he realizes that he'll probably be able to do more good with its backing than by himself.
I guess it means "investigate anything Wardens-related ASAP".
I wonder if that concept art will appear in the game. Maybe as a flashback?
