Does anyone else want him to be French Orlesian?  Mostly for the accent. I think he'd sound amazing with a deep, rich voice.  
 
Not whiny and nasally like everyone and their mom in MotA.

I wouldn't mind an Orlesian accent, but (stupidly) I'd hope he'd have a more Orlesian sounding name if that were the case. It would be unusual if his tongue tripped over his own name.

XD  I can send you a link in a PM if you want (so the mods don't spank me).  It is quite fetishy, though.  I like it a lot, personally, but it's definitely something that's not everyone's cup of tea.

Iain Glen would also kill me, because whenever he says "Khaleesi" dayum. He also did a Count of Monte Cristo radio play that showed off that sexy voice like whoa.

 

While he is super hot as Jorah, I first "met" him on Downton Abbey. He was pretty skeevy there, but... you're right He's managed to portray two very different characters, and especially so with his voice. He's obviously very talented, and I would not complain a bit if Blackwall sounded like Ser Jorah (who I consider to be the sexiest guy in the series).

So anyone see the tweet that kind of hints at there being only one LI slot left? Just read about it in the Varric thread that it looks like Solas is in so if its true Blackwall's chances just went down This makes me sad if it is true. Don't know how to quote from other threads so just doing a copy and paste job here.

Sorry everyone  Blackwall has a slight chance still if they give us more male LIs than females but I myself have a hard time seeing it happening. I gotta say I'm not too thrilled with the majority of options for my straight lady PCs, the only one thats been confirmed that I like is Iron Bull I was really hoping for some older rugged noble grey warden too. *sigh*

That's okay, I admit I've been less than optimistic about his chances for quite a while. I like IB but I hoped I could romance Blackwall with a straight lady PC as well (not a fan of Sullen Cullen).
