Eh, I wouldn't say that necessarily. I don't remember anyone but Isabela in DA2 getting marketed heavily.
True, I don't even remember Fenris or Anders really being marketed. Same with Merrill.

Yup. The marketing team has nothing to do with the writing or whatsoever.
They tend to use characters who's design would appeal to a large audience. Hence why Isabela was used for DA 2.
That hoodie though!!
I want it... I want to go to there... But its so expensive ![]()
Getting a new knit beard ready for PAX Prime and I finished sewing the grey in this weekend:

Shaping and adding flowers is the next step!
I think I favorited this picture on twitter the other day. I wish I could make neat, crafty stuff like that! I think it is awesome ![]()

I take no credit for the base beard and helmet. That was purchased. The grey and the flowers will be my only additions.

Whoever made it did a fine job either way. ![]()

I'm so climbing you come PAX. But you know this already.
I told you all we were going to starve. STARVE!
I was just wondering, was it ever confirmed that our Blackwall is in fact the same mentioned in the WoT book or no?
Also...the new dragon age book: does anyone know if it's going to be super spoilery? Or is it mostly just going to lead into the game. I'd like to have it I think.

The only confirmation we have regarding Blackwall is that he exists and will be in the game *snort*

For one word a day you can save this starving thread.
I think it will lead in to the warden story line DAI.
I thought that might be the case. I think I'll pick it up then. Thanks ![]()
I'm on the fence about "Last Flight". From one hand it introduces us to Anderfels and Wardens before the Inquisition. From the other hand I'm afraid the lore will be butchered quite severely. It's also Mage POW (meaning evil psychotic Templars and poor innocent mages from the page 1 again.) Sigh.
Blackwall seems to be unloved stepchild of the devs.

Ahaha! I always start singing this song when my dogs give me the "sad puppy on a commercial" eyes. It amuses me.
Anyway, hi Blackwall thread. I lurk in here a lot, waiting to post until we know more... but it seems like Blackwall is getting the short end of the stick when it comes to info about him which is sad. :c My guess is that he'll be a cool guy though. I'm glad he apparently has a good sense of humor and I think it will be cool to have an older character as a companion. My characters will all be young (since I am) so I'll probably be looking to him for sage advice often.
Maybe Blackwall never existed and we are all hallucinating about that Noble man, Tis the only reason I can think of why there has been little to no information on him
Come on Bioware I am -this- close to summoning demons on you guys, I just want some scraps of Blackwall information, thats not too much to ask for right?

He is also a sadistic alcoholic apparently.

What the heck did I just read? @.@;

Yeah, I saw that yesterday. Some people let their imaginations fly a little too far with tiny amounts of information, methinks...

I think i stopped reading it at the Blackwall supposedly being an alcoholic psycho manchild part
Wondering imaginations indeed.

But there's a picture of him in a pub! with Sera and Cass and the Inquisitor... They must all be alcoholics! Nasty alcoholics, because Sera is making a dirty joke! What horrible people! ![]()

Oh you're right how silly of me to ignore that damning evidence! They are all alcoholics and probably psychopaths as well cause they kill people, doesn't matter the reason they have killed so they love to kill right? Honestly I'm surprised I didn't see any sl*t shaming/accusing on Sera for making a dirty joke but I didn't want to keep reading and find out >>
Look at what the information drought is doing to some people tis tragic.

I got a chance to use Amazon's Look Inside feature for Last Flight, and it does not seem skewed toward mages. It mentioned

I'm also a little reticent because of how the lore might be handled, but from what I read it sounds like a great story. And it just might set the stage for Inquisition in regards to the Grey Wardens.![]()
I didn't read TME, but I'll be sure to pick up The Last Flight ![]()
