Agreed, not cockney. Unusual to my American ears, so northern sounds about right. I almost thought it was American until a funny lilt at the end. "Oh, that's a British voice for sure," I thought.
It's steady. I wouldn't say too deep. Not gravely or anything. Steady and strong and firm. He sounds like he has no time for messing about. Let's get this business done.

HIS VOICE. HIS VOIIIIICE. Finally!!! And that actually was my planned party. But I might switch Cole out for Sera since I'll be an archer myself and I kind of wanted to be besties with Sera in this playthrough.
I think if I can't have Blackwall I may be going for Solas in that playthrough, saving Iron Bull for 2nd playthrough, since I've already paired him with a different quizzy. Or maybe I'll do Bull first, but that would mean probably not having Blackwall in the party, and that is just not happening. Hmmm.

I don't think anybody was. The central theme of that trailer seemed to be our buddies getting the snot beaten out of them. :S

Uh... I don't think it was ever confirmed that he is Orlesian? Sure, he's a Warden that was in Orlais, but Wardens can come from all over...
Also, the name "Blackwall" isn't very Orlesian at all.

He is from Val Chevin.
He was *STATIONED* at Val Chevin at one point in time. That doesn't mean anything. He could be a Free Marcher for all we know.
I'm just saying he's probably not Orlesian.
