Sadly, I don't think we'll be getting a lot of info or exposure on any of the characters whose LI status is still unconfirmed.  After the tweets from Solas' VA, they're going to lock down the remaining actors so they aren't badgered into releasing spoilers or misleading info.  So there might be a spoken phrase or sentence even, with blurry combat screenies or an inventory screen, but nothing that would lead fans to pester the actors.  That's my own explanation for the media blackout, at any rate.

 

For those who want to guess, there's a coincidence in the writers for the remaining potential LIs:  

Blackwall:  written by Sheryl Chee, along with Leliana (not a romance option)

Solas:  written by Patrick Weekes, along with Iron Bull, who has his own romance arc

Varric:  written by Mary Kirby

Vivienne:  written by Mary Kirby

 

I don't know to what extent the romances are spread among the writers, and there's no reason any of these seasoned, talented writers couldn't write 2 romances.  They're all capable of writing more than one richly developed character at once.  I'm just going to look at the roster and try to convince myself it's not wishful thinking.

 

 

Hmm... just read an IGN-article in Swedish that mentioned that Varric isn't a LI. Had to reread it a couple a times just to try to convince myself that I wasn't wrong.

There is no romance with him but there is a reason for it, or so says the article. Like I said, the article here is the first I've heard about it. We will just have to see if Blackwall is a LI. My guess is that Vivienne will be a LI so then it appears to be down to Blackwall and Solas for the other one. If the article is correct.

I guess it's Solas and Vivienne. I wish they announce last two LI to be done with it. This "Soon..." is annoying. There were a lot of hints about Solas and there is no way straight guys will only get two options, one of them an advisor. Sucks for me because these two guys have lowest place on my priorities list. Looks like I'll spend the game drooling over Leliana and Blackwall's forbidden fruit. Oh, well. There is always headcanon. Like this:

Unless one of the boys is hetero and the other is gay I don't see both Solas and Blackwall being LI. Not that it's impossible, but...

Bull also annoys me, not only being qunari, but the whole "yet another bisexual character who shags everything". Still I'm preparing a no-nonsense Lady-Saarebas for him, so chill  Sten will cry with envy. Should be interesting. For the science.

I'm out of likes but agree with you.  No hate here.  There're plenty of choices because not everyone does have the same preferences.  Don't forget that if it turns out to be Viv and Solas, there's still Solas, and he does look pretty cool.  Not as awesome as Blackwall, of course, but there is worse.

I'm less optimistic about Blackwall's chances than I used to be, but I'm still clinging to what little hope I have left. I feel like Viv is a shoe-in (since the LI will be uneven simply because in any case there will be more male LIs).

While Vivienne didn't have "hints", there is much attention and marketing going on with her. It just makes me think she's most likely to be a LI of the three is all.

Well, we don't know the reasons behind this attention. Maybe she is important for the plot (trailer hints at it). Maybe they think promoting a woman of color would be good for their reputation (which is). Maybe I'm just seeing things...

I think the same thing, but romance and everything else aren't mutually exclusive. However, it's simply speculation at this point and you might be right. Who knows

I just... very rarely have interest in male romance options. So far it's just Garrus and, well, Blackwall. And I really, really want a cheesy romance, if you know what I mean.
