I would like to see both remaining romances to be male for a different reason.  I would love to see a beautiful, powerful, witty, successful woman portrayed who isn't interested in romance.  We had Aveline to a certain extent, but even she lost her cool when Donnic showed up.  To have a great female character who exists outside her availability as someone's LI would make a nice change.  DAO had Sten, at least, and with no Bianca on the scene, Varric filled the role in DA2.

Regardless of Blackwall and Solas LI status, making Viv a romance would also mean that every female companion/advisor (Leliana also counts because she can be Warden's pair) is romanceable. This situation would not appear if not 6:3 gender ratio. But we have what we have.

I see it. You are the Inquisitor, Briala romanced Celene not just because she had feelings for her but because that meant she had Celene's ear. i could totally see Viv romancing the Inquisitor

Remain cautiously optimistic, are chances look better. But they could mean if you were sad you didn't get Duncan as a companion. I hope they meant as an LI, but we'll have to see.

On a high note though, theirs more evidence for Blackwall then there is for Viv. Doesn't mean a whole lot, but it's a good sign.

Considering they haven't talked much about Blackwall as a character, they've still given more hints towards him possibly being a LI than Viv. They have talked more about Viv as a character. 

 

I don't know, but I find it a bit weird that there seems to be no clues pointing towards Viv other than "it's more even if she's a LI".... 

 

Honestly I have no idea at this point. I wish they'd all be LI's so one way or another I'll be disappointed  I hope they announce it soon though. It does seem like they might reveal at least one of them soon...

Edit: It's interesting how there seem to be teases for both Solas and Blackwall but none for Vivienne. Would they really risk the rage of the dudebros by adding more male romances than female??

It already happened in DA2. Surely Sebastian is a DLC and he is not... erm... very exciting, but...
DA team is different from ME despite some developers moving in (Patrick and Karin Weekes, Sylvia), so there is hoping.
