So what, have the new warden help in inquisition and then show up in the 4th game in the deep roads for his calling?  i mean thane showed up just sittin in the hospital like it was nothing for such a badass to be there

Well, Thane said from the get-go that he didn't have long to live. It's not that hard to believe his son eventually forced him into hospital care and he DID show up to keep Kai Lang from killing the Salarian councilor.

 

Honestly, tragic romances are always the best. The feels I feel every time my FemShep reads Thane's prayer, man...

 

If good ole Beardy isn't far from his calling, I think it'd make for an excellent love story.

Seriously, after Anders, I don't think I can just go for any run-of-the-mill romance.  If that one concept of Beardy Warden is any indication (the one in the rain and the nooses and dead people), seems like he's gonna have at least SOME sadness to his story.  Whether or not he's romance-able, I eat those kinda stories up.

 

Wasn't a huge fan of Thane, but that's neither here nor there.

Wasn't entirely too surprised about Cass and Cullen.  More excited about Cass than Cullen.

Noooo... and I was still hoping Cullen would not take that precious romance slot away since Beardys chances are low compared to DHMG, IB or Solas he's gonna be permanently im party anyway.

I think Beardy has...okay, not a great chance to be a romance. In order of likeliness it's probably Solas > DHMG> Iron Bull > Beardy > Varric.

 

Yeah, this is why I didn't want Cullen to be a romance. I'd rather have two new people to strike out with than just one. Hopefully Cullen's an NPC so we can still have our two slots.

Hopefully there will be 6 love interests (they've done that before in ME2 as you know with Miranda-Jack-Tali and Garrus-Thane-Jacob) as opposed to just 4, mainly because Solas is probably going to be a love interest and if there's only 4, there goes our chances of Beard Warden as a love interest.

Exactly. And this game has had a lot more development time than DA2 did. I could see Solas being another option, with the Grey Warden maybe being a third.
