Regarding the last LI announcement: it's not official until it's official. So I'd appreciate people not making assumptions and then getting negative with other folks about that assumption.

And if anything the Varric & Solas reveals have taught us, assumptions (no matter how logical) =/= reality. So until the official word comes out, anything and everything can justify anyone's belief so-and-so will be the last LI.

I don't think it is Blackwall but I will hope till the end. Vivienne is glamorous chicken with typical cliche romance "soft inside hard outside". Blackwall is much more intresting. *fingers crossed*

Did the devs say they were announcing the final LI during PAX?
My first disappointment was finding out Dorian is not meant for my Femquisitor (a big "maybe I'll play a male just so I could play that romance") but I'm also looking forward to Blackwall. Cullen is literally my third option at this point but if I'm not playing a mage, I'm not too interested in his romance yet.
So Blackwall would be real nice guys. Hell if not, me and Iron Bull will have a grand time, just sayin~

Hey, I'm just over here keeping the hope alive in a quiet way. I feel as if I should have a gif of a cigarette lighter or something.
Blackwall is awesome. Well, all the followers are, but Blackwell is especially so to me because I've always had a gigantic soft spot for that big, gruff, externally stoic but intensely caring sort. He believes in things - people, goals - and I believe in that.
I'm just popping over from the usual place I reside in the Varric thread, but I really think Blackwall has a good chance of being an LI now Solas has been confirmed and is so severely race gated. Because the other companion who was once gated was IB, which makes me think all the race gates were on male LI's - making them the equivalent of one LI in terms of availability to genders/races (I think Cullen is the final race gate). So it makes sense there would be two more male LI's than female if that theory is true... Blackwall as LI for the win... he would go someway to making up for my lack of Varric love!
