I have been watching by the sidelines and didn't want to comment until after all the LI's have been announced.  Now that the dust is settled i wanted to Congrats all the Blackwall Shippers who wanted to romance him with your Femail Inq.  I was one of the few who wanted to romance him as a male inq, but that will not stop me from creating a female Inq, design her to look like Kerry Washington From Scandal, and romancing Blackwall <>

Yeah I really want to be Dalish. I usually always play warrior so I'm going to try to mix it up.  I don't know if I'll be romancing him my first playthrough (Sera and Josephine are also appealing to me)

I really like Team Vulgar but my first game I'll be a rogue so I think I'll mix up teams Vulgar and YOLO: Bull, Blackwall and Dorian. But knowing me, I'll end up with 2 rogues in my party a lot. Again.

I've played a female rogue first last 2 games to get the feel of things.  No sense stopping now, since they're so much fun.  I do eventually plan to romance everyone, since that's just how I am, but priorities, right?  Since I can't have Sigrun as a partner in crime, I'll have to channel her.  Lady dwarf all the way!

I'm still in shock over his LI status, tbh. I'm planning out two possible Quizzie's for him, but I keep expecting to get into the game and have him turn them down because he's married, or devoted completely to the Grey Wardens, or something similar. I know that's not how it'll actually go, but it's like I can't believe he's actually available.

Well, I'm in my 40s, and if I were "hooking up" with a 20 something "girl" I'd feel pretty weird about it. Not Lolita weird, but pretty weird, anyhow.

I'm 23, and dated a 39 year old man for a while. It was awesome. I guess that's part of the reason Blackwall appeals so much to me -- I have a thing for older men.

We've got a lot more flexibility this game in terms of our protagonist's age. If we're responsible enough to be a delegate to the council (mage origin) or to be our family's spy (the others), it stands to reason that we could be in our 30s ourselves.

I'm in my 40's as well.  That's why I said earlier that I was excited to play my own age in a game for once and have the choice of an older LI.

I never ran two rogues in the same party until my last complete PT when I had a CE rogue (dual wield) romancing Leliana and kept her in the party. I'd always assumed that two rogues wouldn't work well, but it may have been one of my easiest PTs.

I'm happy people who want a beardy LI can have one. But I personally have a very beardy dad, and that is therefore quite unsexy to me. So I kinda want to have an Ally-Sheedy-Breakfast-Club moment where most people are unimpressed but the prospective partner is like, "whoa, you're actually pretty handsome under that beard." Therefore, if I can, I will ask Blackwall to shave. I think it would be cute if he did that because my character (probably a qunari; for some reason I find Blackwall/Qunari adorable) asked him to.

I've always associated beards with badassery because my dad has a beard. But he is pretty badass. 

 

I didn't always prefer bearded men though. That materialized as I got older. A good beard is a wonderful thing.
