Anyway I'm far more excited to see the 'awwwwmygaaawd' sequence in which Blackwall removes his helmet. I read that at PAX there had been many jawdrops and omgs among women but that's not yet to be seen anywhere for us common mortals

It really wasn't a sequence, the driver of the demo just went into the character equipment window and took his helmet off.

But it was still glorious...

Actually, the advisors seem to have quite a bit of banter at Skyhold.

I believe it's been said that their word budget is the same as the companions, or somewhere around there. That's quite a bit of skyhold banter, given they can't accompany the Inquistor as part of the party.

User.

Will Blackwall and my Inquisitor have a happily ever after if I play him this song http://bit.ly/1qo4HDa

Sheryl Chee.

Wow. I don't feel qualified to answer this. Asking my friend @rinjirenee what she thinks.

Rinjirenee.

Hm, depends on if the Inquisitor is able to find the silver crystal in time.

User.

Is there an in-game equivalent? Silver ore? Crystal relic? An all-powerful gem that allows magic transformation?

I'm not qualified to discuss Sailor Moon. :D

And one more comic.

Ah. So people guessed Ramon Tikaram correctly. :)

Now there is only one companion whose voice is unknown. Just our luck.

Well, it turned out pretty well that Blackwall was the last romance to be announced, didn't it? Perhaps being the last isn't a bad thing.

Regardless of WHO it is, his voice is sexy (100% confirmed) and causes spontaneous moaning.

I should know.

I'd like a VA but I could use a bit more meat about the character as well.

And something terribly spoilery that would put my mind at ease.

Cue dirty joke! ...eheheh

But yeah, I really feel like they're treating Blackwall as more of an afterthought (and have been for a long time). Still, I'm happy for Dorian fans finally getting a confirmation!

Well, yes, but it's a bit like being that one guy who is always late to the party.

That's good to hear. :D

We can get something terribly spoilery in 4 days (Last Flight).

Well a specific something.

I have two conflicting impulses in BW RPGs: acquire LI ASAP and to do all available sidequests before progressing the main quest until I know what the points of no return are. So when do we pick him up and do any sidequests become unavailable before we can?

I doubt you'll get this info without heavy spoilers from x-box players (unless you are one of them :)).

I'm thinking of first run with Cassandra (or no one) for that exact reason.

No guessing about Blackwall's VO?

Most popular theory is Alistair Parker

@Ashelsu

I did say it was spoilery. Unfortunately I--for the moment--have my heart set on Blackwall.

Sean Bean and Richard Armitage have been mentioned.  And yeah, as jtav said, Alistair Parker seems to be the winning theory at the present time.  *clings to Richard Armitage hope*

Ah. Then I guess you'll have to wait for the first playthrough. Even after picking up Blackwall you still won't know about points of no return. (I hated them in ME 3. How was I supposed to know you can't complete side quests after Tuchanka?) With DAI being more open game than its predecessors, however, I would expect that areas won't be closed for you and after main quest all the map will be open for us. Interesting. You raised a good question, but I'm afraid I don't remember developers saying anything about it. :(

I didn't really think of this until now but...it's possible Blackwall could be a date for a fancy ball //// think he's a good dancer?  :)

I'm hoping someone will blab at some point. Truthfully, I want to know everything down to the last detail before I even install the game with no surprises whatsoever.

Being european pc gamer, I'll probably have a lot of material on my hands before installing the game. I metagame a lot too.
Probably because I don't play self-inserts and hate to rush (my only genres are RPG and TBS after all).

I found it in Q & A.
Q: Will all areas be available from the start or will they unlock as we progress along the main quest?
A: Some areas will be unlocked once you have a rational reason to visit them (MD)

I'm sure if you really wanted, you could wait until someone posts a walkthrough. But to be honest, posts like this make me a little sad.

I hope that he is. Depends on how stereotypical Bioware wants to make him. I think it would be great if he proved a good dancer against everyone's expectations.
