I don't have other's yet but my dalish mage who will be the first to romance Blackwall will be Miran Lavellan. I don't even remember when I last used default name so I need to come up with something for the rest xD

I could see them being quite happy together.
Just save it for my second run.
I'm really conflicted over which one to romance first ;-; this is a harder choice than a nightmare playthrough

We did. Females only, no race restrictions.
For this alone he gets my
my femqunari will love him forever and ever :3
I think I'll give him my noble and sweetheart characters. That and the snarkers.
The other f/m only LIs can get the manipulative douchecanoes that'd sell their own mother for a buck.

XD really wishing there was a demo of the CC now ![]()
I'm hoping he doesn't have an issue with necromancers XD Hopefully not since he's a warden and they tend to use whatever's necessary to get the job done.

This is wonderful. Holy crap. I got shot down with Dorian that I didn't think we could get Blackwall. Well at least the female Inquisitors and I simply do not have the same interest for Cullen that I somehow developed for Blackwall?
I love it. I love it. Can't wait for November!! >_<

You have a good taste in avatars and anime. /offtopic
/ontopic I'm warming up more and more to the idea of a Qunari romancing Blackwall. It seems to neat. *_*

I'm starting to lean towards pairing him with a Qun!Quizzie myself, but for some reason the pull from a young human rogue is strong.

I confess that at the moment, the question is which race to romance him with. I love my rogues most, so that's a given.

Qunari being taller gives them the option of hopping the wall.
Elves being frailer gives them the option of hugging the wall.
Dwarves being skilled miners can dig a hole in the wall.
Humans are average so they'd better be careful lest they end up with their backs against the wall.

Some people might go for that, but if I make a silly, non straightforward statement, assume it leads to the gutter. ![]()
Heck, assume that about everything I say. ![]()

My apologies if this has been discussed on the thread before but what does everyone think about Blackwall being Andrastian or not?
If he were religious at all, I think it's clearly the most logical religion or philosophy he would follow but I'm torn between seeing him as quietly pious and firmly focused purely on what he can change in the here and now.

Ha, thanks for indulging my groundless and needless speculation here! I think so much of the Grey Warden experience and history has such good story potential. It's a death sentence but for the greater good. We've seen potential Wardens take the Joining flippantly, seriously, forcibly and then we have the stories from Alistair where there is a real camaraderie between many Wardens.
So clearly there are as many types of Warden as there are people but I feel like the constant Sword of Damocles type feeling they must have must strike them all differently. So I'm passing the time until November thinking about how it affects Blackwall.
