There's only a month and a couple of weeks before Inquisition is released anyway. I assume that since they've already released information about all the other voice actors, eventually Blackwall's VA will be announced before then.

 

Hell, he probably was voiced by Conal.

I'm confused. The only people I see using their left hands are Cass and Blackwall. The others are using their right hand, or are ambidextrous.

It's odd how reluctant they are to talk about Blackwalls VA, Maybe it's just normal marketing, but it sort of seems like their waiting until we get closer to launch to reveal his VA, like it might be a big deal.

Customizing a house with things you get to choose the decor from, no less. Sounds more like the Sims to me.

Harvest Moon beat the sims to it. It also beat a ton of games to crafting, resource gathering/management, social interaction with NPC's, and romanceable NPC's.

One of the things to remember is that he is the original straight male option, meaning that before Cullen, he was the only completely straight option for women. I highly doubt they're gonna half-ass his dialogue or his VO.

 

Plus he seems like he may be a somewhat plot important character, with the whole fighting Wardens thing.

I love that this was the first post to greet me after I decided to lurk the Blackwall thread for a bit (you guys have the best art ).

Really, really late to the party but I'm intrigued by Blackwall.  I don't know if its the big bushy black beard that he's got going on or if its that he's a more mature member of the group that's also a romance option but my girl Cadash is certainly going to experience the feel of that beard!

On the topic of Blackwall's VA, who do you hope it will be? 

Current speculation are a man named Alistaire Parker, Stephen Dillane, who is the man that plays Stannis Baratheon if you watch Game Of Thrones. Some people have also been saying Sean Bean but that just wishful thinking. 

 

Anyway, that's the current speculation, we've only heard his voice once and it was kind of hard to hear with all the background noise. If they show any more footage with him speaking we might be able to figure it out.

Clearly the lack of VA announcement means that Blackwall has no VA. He merely has ambient and combat lines like the Warden in DAO, but all his dialogue is transmitted psychically through his smoulderingly hot stare silent.
