@Magdalena11
Considering this info is not even translated into other languages, it's still WIP. The site itself is very... clunky and not informative. So I would not worry about it yet. It also would be very spoilerish to declare companions' status like that.
Sign. Still no new screenshots.
We must remedy that!
Spoiler
I so want a scene like that in the game! Let us give/get some TLC! Pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase!

I do feel a bit bad that his job's going to be "get hit so I don't."

You know, this isn't helping my Blackwall vs. Josephine choice one bit.
I do feel a bit bad that his job's going to be "get hit so I don't."
Yes, I know. One of the reason I probably will go for Cass with my qunari reaver in the first play is because she is here from the very beginning, and you can hardly miss her content. And I'm going to miss a lot of things on the first play.
You can make him an offensive warrior, I suppose. Though champion screams tank to me. Its skills are still unknown, right?

So most of the armor Blackwall wears is quilted. Do you all think he likes quilting?

Blackwall reminds me of Anson Mount (who plays Cullen

Semi-Confirmed Rumor: Blackwall covertly makes elaborate quilts in his spare time. Unique, personalized quilts appear in your companions' rooms over the course of the game. Vivienne loudly proclaims that she won't touch the Maker-forsaken thing, but weeks later can be caught doing some late-night reading in her rooms while wrapped in the silver-patterned covering. Josephine can't decide if she wants to use the quilt or hang it on the wall, because "the golden roses are just so darling!". Leliana's has Andraste's Grace embroidered into the patches. Dorian's is covered in dragons. Solas' is patterned with vines, leaves and trees. Cullen's has lions on it. Cole's looks like the night sky, with moons and stars scattered across it. Iron Bull's is thrice as large as the others, and is patterned with abstract, interlocking antlers and horns. Varric's has little books on it. Sera's has an arrow pattern. Cassandra's has interlocking blades on each patch, with heart symbols like the ones on her armor hidden between them.
...
Yes, I am well-aware that I am completely, ridiculously daft. No, I do not regret writing any of that. Sue me.

Haha, I figured that the Inquisitor's quilt would just depend on whose Inquisitor it is and their background. Like Trevelyan Inquisitor possibly having the sigil of Ostwick or the Trevelyan family on theirs, or Mage Trevelyan's having random runes embroidered on it, or Lavellan having a copy of their vallaslin in the pattern, et cetera.

Woah woah woah! What's this!
Blackwall is exclusively for Female Dwarf Inquisitor!
Solas is for the Elves.

Now, now, the great bara warden is a gift for us all! Let us revel in his handsome, bearded glory together, for the Maker has blessed all female Inquisitors with his love. So let it be.
(I missed this thread so much. I've been inactive on the forums for MONTHS. ;_; )

I'm planning a Qunari Inquisitor to romance him in my 2nd playthrough. But who knows...his personality and manliness might sway me to go with him during my first run. ![]()
EDIT
And that picture does not make my decision easier, lol.

My head hurts trying to pick between Josephine and Blackwall. But I'll be dragging him around a lot and probably following her path, so I won't lack for intel.

LOL. Curse you! *shakes fist*
Depending on if I really hate a character, that's the only time I don't want to bother with the romance myself and look it up online. See Anders. Otherwise, I like doing each character in different playthroughs, experiencing it for myself. I don't picture me hating any of the LIs so far, but that may change when I see their personalities in action.

I watched Jacob's "romance" on Youtube. Could not stomach it. Turned out, my instincts were right.
I have faith in Dragon Age writers to pull their characters, though. Was more a joke. ![]()

I'll probably be "peeking ahead" via YT even on first playthrough. I am not going throungh an Anders or Fenris situation again.
Yeah. BioWare teached me: "Pick up a girl, you can't go wrong with a girl".
But I have a good feeling about Blackwall. I guess it's called hope. ![]()

That's part of the reason I'm torn. I'm planning a political Inquisitor anyway and I had a lovely non-angsty time with Leliana and Traynor that I genuinely enjoyed.Yeah. BioWare teached me: "Pick up a girl, you can't go wrong with a girl".

The other part is I worry I've built up a fantasy Blackwall in my head. So even though I really wanted him, I don't want to say for sure until I'm in game.

We all did. It's a human nature to assume things. I almost can hear Sheryl laughing (or facepalming) about most of stuff said here.
So the only way is to wait for the game and see what it brings. Maybe Josephine is awesome and Blackwall is horrible or doesn't suit your character. Maybe other way around. Maybe you will be torn playing. Who knows. ![]()
