I guess maybe his hair was always dark brown?

That'd be some odd lighting, because in pretty much all the screenshots we've seen his hair has been pretty undeniably black unless my eyes fail me. 

 

Though, I guess his ancient concept art was pretty brown-haired.

I could have sworn it was black too; perhaps Bioware went back and forth on it a bit before settling on dark brown?

 

EDIT: The more I look at Patrick Petitjean, the more I wonder if Bioware possibly modeled Blackwall off of him (or if not, who they did model Blackwall from) - especially after the pics in my last post of him (the last in the maroon suit is probably closest).

He has the same hair color and eye color (if the latest pic is anything to go by), eyebrows, cheekbones, cheek gaunt, hairline, beard and hairstyle (in some pictures). The only thing that's different is the body - Blackwall is much more built then Patrick, who is rather slim.

 

I guess the upcoming vid(s) will show us more about this, but I call it.

I think it starts at the usual time, which for me in Washington State has always been 10 AM PST.

It starts the usual time. Realistically, I think next stream will be DAMP, so...

I hope 2 trailers with followers, 1 with advisors and launch trailer. That is, if they release them every Monday.

Okay guys! At 22:04 you can hear Blackwall speak a few lines of dialogue. It's not much, but it's more than, "Don't waste time on them, head for the castle!"

Were these conditions specifically for demo, or we can pick up them that early? And Dorian, Bull and Cole are more difficult to find?

Possibly. Or maybe they have to get to a certain area to get them, first? They probably don't want to give that away.

I'm going to be honest... I was disappointed that Blackwall was a romance and not Varric, but he's growing on me...

I think the party was level 5, but yay!  Not too long to wait.  They did say that except for Cass, Solas and Varric, companions have to be earned, whatever that means, but I'm happy that Blackwall and Sera are recruitable fairly early.  Maybe there will be a choice with the other companions as well - do this mission for this companion or that mission for another.  Nice to see Blackwall on horseback.

Hi, everyone! I'm usually on the Cullen thread because I was never super excited about Blackwall. HOWEVER, after hearing/seeing/learning about the tiniest bit of Blackwall I can officially say I'm a fan and am excited to see how his story/relationship plays out!!
