Can't wait for this to be announced.  His name, writer, and a brief idea of his backstory are some of the things I'm most looking forward to finding out.

Idk why, but I want to know his name above all else. It's bugging the living hell out of me that we don't even have a name for the guy yet.

I'm really just interested to know what role the wardens will have in the game, generally. I've always been interested in getting a closer look at their motivations and inner workings. We've always gotten so close and still had basically no idea what's really going on with them. I'm hoping the warden can tell us more about the higher leadership in the wardens in a way that we couldn't get from new/outsider recruits like Alistair in Origins and Anders in DA2. The warden looks like he's probably had a long time with the wardens and has gotten jaded with them, so I hope he has a lot to tell us about them.

He seems like an upper level Warden, and considering the Wardens have been digging around the Primeval Thaig with red lyrium, they probably have an important role in this upcoming installment.

Yeah, the wardens were the first ones looking into the red lyrium, so it's definitely going to be interesting to see how they're effected by it and why they were looking. We know what it does to templars, but it doesn't appear any large amount of wardens has gotten corrupted. I've always wondered if the red lyrium had something to do with the taint since Bertrand talked about hearing a song with the idol.

Nathaniel said the wardens had a working relationship with the intelligent darkspawn, basically, so I wonder if that will come up. Did he imply they helped them find the red lyrium route? I kind of forget the context in that quest now.

Wasn't it implied the Wardens had some mysterious "contact" besides the Architect, if he was spared? Something tells me a lot of Warden secrets are going to be spilled by our friend with the healthy beard.

If I remember this right, Nathaniel specifically says they're using The Architect as a contact if the warden spared him and he's more vague if The Architect was killed, but still implies they're working with the intelligent darkspawn.

I'm very sure we killed all other Awakened Darkspawn...unless something else is awakening them

Also, do remember that we have The Last Flight coming around in August as well.

There's a possibility of letting The Messenger go. The slides at the end say he travels around and isolated outbreaks of the taint occur in corresponding locations.

The Architect didn't seem to know where he came from or why he was sapient. Some people suspect he's another magister, but it's unclear what the deal was with him. It's possible that other magisters could have already been active besides Corypheus, or that others were created in the same method the The Architect was, if he's not a magister. Either that, or there were just more intelligent darkspawn than we realized.

When I first played Legacy I got a glitch that was popular early on where they said The Architect was spared when that wasn't actually my choice, so I don't know what Nathaniel says if he was killed. To be honest, I would have spared him, though, if I realized the extent of the plot at the time. It's likely the choice I'll make in the keep.

Why is it always that those kinds of villains never truly die. We chopped them into little pieces or cut of their head, but noooooooooo, they are never truly dead! Why can't that never happen with heroes! They constantly die from the smallest arrow wounds.

The Architect didn't really seem to have his **** together as much as Corypheus, so I don't know if it's possible that he got away despite being "killed". The Architect also didn't seem like as much of a solid black on the black/white scale villain as Corypheus either, though.

People who kill Leliana have no heart, are bad and they should feel bad!

People do really fixate on wanting to be able to kill Leliana... so much that it makes me kinda grossed out.

I think it went really out of proportions. At some point it seemed like everybody and their grandmother not just killed Leliana, but decapitated her.

It occured to me, I'm very interested in Beardy's voice actor. He just has to have a deep, rich, masculine voice, right? Imagine someone as Jowan would voice him. No offends to Jowan's VA, but, well, it would ruin the character somewhat in my eyes.  Any suggestions?

I'm just popping in here to add my support for the big bushy GW. I'm hopeful that he's a companion and fingers crossed for romance too though it doesn't seem too likely. I'm guessing that if he's a companion, he might be like Wynne and deemed too old. Personally, the young puppy dog guys like Alistair don't do it for me. An older man would be most welcome, especially one who looks like this guy. But if he's simply a companion, I'll still be happy.

I'm also hopeful he has a deep masculine voice. I always loved Kaiden in ME but his voice never seemed to match him (though I think his VA was great).

Well Aluanira, you won't find much opposition regarding him being a romance option here :D Welcome!

And yes, I'm dying to hear his voice.  Will it be deep and sound like he's been gargling with glass?

Liam Neeson would be great if Beardy Warden has a particular set of skills.

Great, first thing that came to mind was one of Liam Neeson's 'greater' attributes.  I'm sure this shocks you none.

Beardy Warden's attribute is so great that he tripped getting out of the bathtub and pole-vaulted into the Free Marches.

I want Richard Armitage to voice him, and if there was a movie, he would be a perfect actor choice!
