I want to check that video through so much it's not even funny anymore, but even more I don't want to spoil myself too much *cries*

 

Why does this game launch later in EU *more crying* I have to wait a week still and even then I can't go to full lets play 24/7 because of school work

Also, I had a minor panic attack not even two minutes in cause I thought I had just spoiled the end game... turns out it was still fairly early game, which was a huge relief. Basically, spoilers big enough I thought I was watching the ending, so yeah.

I both loathe and love when vids like that are posted. It's like 'more Blackwall!' and at the same time I do not wanna know what it reveals, because we all know that that spoilerish event - and all Blackwall events - are for our own Inquisitor only; they are only ever gonna happen for my Quizzie in her game as far as my canon is concerned.

Frankly I don't care to see my LI's conversing with Quizzies who will never exist in my Thedas! 'Who are you and why are you talking to my future husband? Get outta here!'

 

The temptation is so great it's painful, seriously. I dunno how many times I thought about clicking and looking just to see that beautiful man. BUT I SHALL PERSEVERE! *runs awaaaaay*

I was just thinking that he looked very sad, but some people just look that way normally. We'll have to see how he looks when laughing since some of the concept art show him roaring with laughter.

Also does anyone that has been watching stuff know exactly when we're getting him? I thought he'd be available right away in the hinterlands, but another stream suggests we have to move the story forward more and then go back.

It's their latest video. unfortunately I don't remember exactly what time they recruited him, but once they do they keep him in the party. It's also after he recruits Sera. I think about midway? Hopefully that helps.

And yeah, he headed to Orlais and then back tracked to the hinterlands where he recruited Blackwall. I don't think it's that far in the game.. he was like the 2nd character recruited, behind Sera.

Regarding that stream Blackwall was recruited somewhere over 1:00:00 I believe(that may not be very helpful info...), also there is banter between Ironbull and Blackwall close to the end of the stream.  I do have to say, Sera is cuter and... crazier than I expected her to be.

It doesn't look that far if you forward the story, but I pretty much wanted to halt the story and recruit him before doing anything. Now here is a very important question that I need answered after watching some of that stream (haven't gotten to the blackwall recruitment part yet) and other gameplay vids.

 

It appears Iron Bull has two ways of getting recruited or at least for the player to know about him. One is to go straight to the map he's in and stumble upon him, OR apparently if you don't do that, one of his mercenaries lets you know he exists (happens when Leliana tells you about Blackwall). So, with that in mind, is this also possible for Blackwall? Will we be able to recruit him early if we stumble on his recruitment spot on the Hinterlands map?

Blackwall is proud of his life as a Grey Warden and has a strong sense of duty. Like Cassandra, that often means putting his personal life on hold, living a life of solitude. He joins your cause because he can't merely stand by and watch as the world crumbles. As writer Sheryl Chee revealed, he lives by the saying, "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." Most admirable is his willingness to risk his life for others, especially since he's seen his fair share of good men lose their lives. Obviously, Blackwall won't tolerate selfishness or someone who abuses their power, so he'll be keeping an eye on you to see how you treat those who sacrifice their lives in the name of the Inquisition. As a loner, he might not be the best at reading your romantic signals, so you're most likely going to need to be very direct to get the message across. It might be worth it though, as seeing Blackwall let his guard down and loosen up is rewarding in its own right.
