I'd imagine if he's not who he says he is, doesn't mean he's not a grey warden. Can't they sense dark spawn? Running into other grey wardens and dark spawn, if he couldn't sense them it would be a give away if he wasn't one.

.  I agree that all the companions are likely to have a flaw that makes them a potential liability, and I thought it was because of the taint and the vulnerability to manipulation wardens have shown to suggestion, like the wardens who were controlled by Corypheus in DA2's Legacy.  It would be ironic if his weakness is

The gist of the Cullen thing was somebody/something had taken his identity for one part, I think. Someone more Cullen-versed than me might remember it being brought up.

Might be the same situation with Blackwall. Hell maybe it just happens with whoever your LI is.

That would be very unfortunate. I'd rather have stories tailored to the character. Also it doesn't bother me as much if it is Blackwall, but Cullen? They even used the same voice actor?! and we have met him before so it's easier to know whether he's bulshiting or not. Hmmmm.....no like.....but since I don't know everything it is something to look forward to~

Well, it means I will be unable to romance either of them now since I hate romancing characters who get together. For Blacwall that's not a big deal since he was never of much interest to me in that regard but Josephine was going to be my main LI. This is the Garrus/Tali situation all over again.

Haven't read much about Blackwall yet, but what i have read seems very interesting. He is romanceable by female Inquistior right?. He and Cullen seems like the best options for my human female rogue, which i will play first. We'll see how it develops.
