You make these complaints a lot. I've seen you do it on multiple other threads. I am sorry this is a problem for you, but a lot of other players actually enjoy seeing relationships build between other characters, but maybe we could focus back on Blackwall.

You know I wouldn't mind your theory as it would fit in with the fact that we have met or been a Warden with a troubled past. But then how come his stories are very different to what we know on other lore related content?
Or maybe he found out something about the Grey Wardens that he did not approve. Sometimes during Blights Grey Warden would do anything to stop one, even sacrificing people. Maybe he wasn't down for that and wants to keep the fantasy of the fairy tale that people think the Grey Wardens are so left them long ago?

Not proud of what he did, perhaps? Maybe having been alone away from the order after leaving it gave him some time to think back, and he decided the Blackwall who left Ferelden to its fate isn't the Blackwall he wanted people to see him as. So he made up some other persona, one more in line with the stories.
I think we're all reaching at this point, lol.
Wouldn't it be great if we were right though? Still interesting enough for his character development but still in line with him being a Warden which appeals to most of us. I mean I still like Blackwall even knowing what I think I know but I still want to hear him explain.
I mean we've come up with some many other options, it has to be one of those right? lol. I'd be really impressed if we were all wrong.

No she didn't. She is a lay sister for the Chantry like she told us. She just happened to have been more than that.

She said she was your everyday traveling minstrel before that, at first. Nothing more. She didn't tell you about the whole covert assassin-seductress bit. Which is kind of important information.
She may not have outright lied, but she was...economical with the truth.

I think you are probably on the right track. Something went down between him and the Wardens and he left. At least that's what this picture seems to imply.
He still wants to do good and probably believes the Wardens should do more than sit on their butts doing nothing between blights. He probably believes they should be helping people.
