I'm 42 rl.... so ill go with being a more mature...age wise at least..... woman. Just enough drama without the teenage angst stuff.

My first human for my Bio ware romance 1st choice pantheon. Zevran. Fenris. Blackwall. Garrus.

Ran around with Blackwall and Sera last night. Got the banter were they are calling each other names. *shakes fist* Why do you have to be such an awesome tank Blackwall? Hearing you talk weakens my Cullen resolve.

Weird question, imo, but what age do you imagine your Inquisitors who romance Blackwall to be? I started my game as a Trevelyan and I imagine her to be like 27 but I second guess myself on doing the Blackwall romance because I keep thinking of Blackwall's age (I like to imagine he's 38 at least) and being too old for a romance with her.

I'm 46 irl so I'm playing that my Inquisitor for Blackwall is 38ish.  Because for the first time in Dragon Age, I can be older if I want to be! Wooooo!  My Cullen girl is 30.

 

Anyways, my Cullen romance is coming along.  He really is very sweet.  Only had one smooch so far.  Had to completely avoid Blackwall until I commited to him though

 

I'm going to try and romance Solas too.  But he really rubs me.  We'll see if I like him better as an elf.  Then...MORE BLACKWALL! 

 

I'm going to include that Dorian is probably the best thing ever.

I'm playing my qunari in her 30's, but I'm actually 44 (occasionally going on 14!). I'm sure if my kid was old enough she'd be embarrassed by me! I'm lucky that for the moment she's completely oblivious to my dorkiness.

@Kaidan Fan, my next PC is a male elf, and I was thinking of romancing Cass, but, geez, dat Dorian!

I much prefer Blackwall with the beard, definitely. The beard is pretty epic. 

 

I never did the Garrus romance in ME but I've heard so many good things about it that I really should give it a try. My characters romanced Kaidan and Thane and I loved both of those stories.

 It's hard to be Hella Cadash's boyfriend. She likes to make you look pretty, but unfortunately....she doesn't have the best taste.

And his plaid suit with his flower hat. I especially love this picture because it looks like Hella is defending him--which tbh, she kind of did, even as a DW Rogue, because this outfit and the Wedge of Destiny were so under leveled at that point, but I refused to talk them off him.

 

Blackwall: My lady....I'm supposed to be the tank...maybe if I could have some better gear, I could do my job be--

I love the last picture. I made Solas's armor after the Blackwall reveal when Solas was mad at him.

Blackwall: There is no dignity in this.
Solas: Any loss of dignity you have suffered is a result of your own ill thought actions. 

Hella: STOP FIGHTING THESE ARE YOUR GET ALONG ARMORS OF SHAME.

Fascinating to see all three versions up there, and while I would normally prefer no beard on a guy, the bearded look suits him the best - I could go for the middle version with the trimmed beard, though.

Crafting was amazing. I just love making them all look silly, especially Blackwall because he's so serious. You cannot imagine my devastation when I found out that if you make the Formal Attire with Plaidweave, it's only yellow, not plaid. ((((

Well, on the plus side, if you squint, it could almost be like having the Thedan equivalent of the original Star Trek crew. Just make sure to put Solas in a blue shirt because he's Spock (have seen that reference in rhe Solas thread before, and hey, it's apropos!).

Hahaha! He did sound almost Bones-like in terms of grumpinesss/exasperation in that one conversation with Cole about beards.

P.S. General note for everyone: Would take Blackwall with you to the Hissing Wastes if you haven't been there - he actually had dialogue that seems specific to the dwarven tombs. Went into one, and it appeared to trigger a story (about a guy named Wilbur/Wilfred/Wil-something) from him. Then again, maybe he tells that story anywhere. Keep hoping he says more about it, so I have to finish that area later.

I almost spit my drink all over the screen.  THAT LAST PICTURE!   He looks so pitiful and defeated! Love it!

 

Edit:  I just noticed the cheese wheel shield! LOL It's even better now!

It's the Wedge of Destiny! It's a unique shield you can find in Crestwood. I don't remember the exact location anymore. I was exploring around in the hills and found one of those viewpoints with a table and chairs, and the table had wine and cheese on it, bu the cheese was lootable...because it was a shield.

I did craft that weapon schematic that says something about a sad-looking weapon. Anyway, it turned into "Mark's Mangled Mace" with what looks like a banana stuck on the end.

 

 

Now I'm picturing Blackwall in plaid armor while he wields both the Wedge of Destiny and Mark's Mangled Mace. Right, so the plans for the banana mace should be found in the Exalted Plains near Riverwatch Camp. Just look for the big pile of lootable snoufleur poo (I see so many snoufleurs that I assume that it was left by one of them) - just a few steps northwestish from the tents!
