Respectfully, I'll believe it when I see a dev post - not that I expect them to have so much free time as to intervene on such a trivial matter.
Actually, considering that I do regard the matter as trivial, I should be self-consistent and stop discussing it.
Fair enough. I'd post it, but I'd rather have the person's permission first.
This is the conversation I was thinking of, with Sera and Blackwall. I'll put it behind a spoiler tag, just in case people don't want to know the banter before they hear it in game.
Spoiler
Bolded part that seems weird.
So you think that Blackwall's irredeemable but you have no problem with setting someone else up to die for a crime they didn't commit? You don't see that as problematic?
Well, the only reason I chose that one was because both Cullen and Josephine were busy with missions that had several more hours until completed. I was doing a marathon run, so couldn't wait that long. So it wasn't my preferred choice but my only one.
I may ship Dorian and Blackwall:...*whistles innocently*
Hm... The stache and the beard together? I'm not sure that the universe could handle that kind of awesome.

Don't forget to throw in Varric and his chest hair.

See, that's the kind of reasoning that you should be using when thinking about the actions of Thom Rainier! I knew you had it in you.

The "you" in that sentence seems plural, in context. I could only understand it coming across as weird to you if you interpreted it as singular, which I don't think the text implies.
Now I really must stop discussing this. Aside from it never coming up in my game, I have a deadline to finish a piece of fan art today - and I've made it harder for myself to get it done with every post I've added to this thread! (It is such a good thread, though.)
Pulling strings.
After everything that went on, and his statement to you in judgement, and his palpable anger at you for pulling him out. There is no way I'd go the switcheroo. You might do it if you're playing an ahole inquisitor just to shove it in his face "HA MORE INNOCENTS - YOUR FAULT - TAKE THAT!" LOL
Ships - I'll never understand the OTP thing that people get so worked up over. I understand preferences, but, meh
off topic, Cullen and Dorian seems they like each other lol.
Considering how awesome Dorian is, everyone should like him - except for Vivienne who pretty much hates everyone except Varric really. Viv and Varric actually got along surprisingly well - it was interesting to keep them together.
So do you need to complete "Memories Of the Grey" in order to unlock Blackwall's personal mission?

Well, the person I trade for his life is a traitor, not a carriage full of children.

How does it imply the you in that sentence is plural?
What's the art? Or is it a surprise?
So do you need to complete "Memories Of the Grey" in order to unlock Blackwall's personal mission?
Nope! But you can do it (or kill Darkspawn with him) to farm approval.
So how much approval do you exactly need?
Well, the person I trade for his life is a traitor, not a carriage full of children and a squad of men who weren't told anything.
Still a really bad thing to do. You killed an innocent (in this respect) man, and you're not even feeling sorry for it.

Well, my normal inclination is to do things as humanely and aboveboard as possible, preferably with no loss of life, so I would go for the pulling strings every time - just not during that dialogue test run. I seriously did not want to roll with Leliana, but Josephine was on a bloody mission and Leliana was the only person available. Besides, I figured it didn't count since I was reloading right after that.
As for OTPs, some people just think certain people belong together - which is why I say Tsunemori Akane x Kougami Shinya forever!!!!

Oh, I felt miserable about it actually. I reloaded later when the time on the other war table missions were done and in every other playthough I've done I've gone Josephine's route. But the question was what did you use the first time.
I have no idea! Blackwall basically agreed with everything I did, lol, and I romanced him, so it was very easy for me. You may need a lot, depending on what choices you made.
I also believe you can't trigger Revelatiojs until after the ball and Adamant. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though.
Well, he basicly disagreed with two of my major choices I made this playthrough since I recruited the mages and exiled the wardens (again). I have found almost all the warden relics, but I'll guess I have to farm some darkspawn in order to unlock it.

So you felt terrible about it and went back to fix it. Sounds familiar, except some people don't have the option to just reload an earlier save file.

Some things are, unfixable...
Some things are, unfixable...
Yup, that is the unfortunate truth!
Bad decisions make for interesting story telling. In my humble opinion that is.
Yes! Oops, didn't mean to empty quote. ![]()
But I wholeheartedly agree. My character was short sighted and reactionary. She had a good heart, but she was in denial about a lot of thigns and she really struggled, which made her story way more rewarding for me.
