I heard sometimes your UI might go wonky if you have mods, but I thought (maybe?) they got that sorted with the mod manager... but maybe? Who knows?!
I agree, no one should leave their Hawke or do testing if it isn't for fun! Mine is all fun and science and I'm just replaying leaving my Hawke on my already finished playthrough, so it's not for reals. I couldn't leave my *real* customized snarky Hawke ever.
That's why I made a game state where I have some fake Hawkes (I have wayyyy more Wardens from DAO than I do Hawkes, so it works out) that I can sacrifice and keep Alistair a warden.
I have so many things going on right now, that I can't get in some good serious gameplay. When I play for real, I like to get into my character and go for a few hours without interruption. Since I can't do that atm, I'm happy to jump in and out of different characters, trying different things.
This is more akin to when I'm playing with mods. In fact, since I'm redoing the ball right now, it might be a good time to test out the ball clothing mod!
