Hrm....You are supposed to have the option to talk about Mythal to Morrigan, instead of having her explain Mythal to you, if you're Dalish, but it's bugged.
Really? Thank god. I mean, it sucks that it's bugged, but at least now I know that my elf wasn't meant to be a such a ditz about it. Not only was she Dalish, but she also had the history and arcane perks, so she really had no excuse to be all "mythal? who dat" in that scene.
I think I managed to max out his approval before triggering Revelations by finishing Memories of the Grey, because it didn't show any approval change after I found the last couple of artifacts. Still nothing
Whatever, we're going on a hot date to Hissing Wastes now.
I sacrificed Hawke on both playthroughs, by the way, and nada.
Slightly off topic - While I was waiting for my underworld contacts to do their thing, I went to the holding cells to see if magister whatshisface from Adamant was actually in my prison after I, well, imprisoned him. He wasn't, but there was some other guy I didn't remember capturing. I went to talk to him and...

Still convinced there's no Blackwall chest scene because they didn't want to animate all his chest hair, so they went for the smooth chested boys (Cullen, IB, Dorian) instead

Is it sad that I would have been happy with just a glimpse of hairy forearm? No, don't answer that. I know.

Hmm...wonder what it could be...maybe I shouldn't flirt with him when first meeting him? Maybe I should've picked something else? OH GOD, WHAT IS IT?!?!?!?!?! WHAT WENT WRONG?!?!?! Okay, I'm calm again. Saw the apology fan art - nice work, if a tad depressing (if it's one of those greatest fear cards, then I guess the fear is having his heart ripped out if you dump him - heh).

Ahahha, I feel you Atreiya. But if it's early on like that, then our best bet for detecting problems is prob by looking at the files. Maybe Kealla will have answers later if she looks at them. ![]()
edit: nvm, Sheryl says she's dropping by with the answer. *DRUMROLLS*

Sabreenei -- You are awesome for creating that form to analyze game data.
Everyone else -- You are outstanding for collectively putting heads together to figure out the problem.

Yay, I'm glad she replied! That fan art she linked kills me.
lol @ veeia -- The things we do for science around here. If we gotta make out with Blackwall ten hundred times, then by science, we will do it! Pass the chapstick.
I'll be happy to know what it is, because not knowing things is like an itch you can't scratch. I have to knowwwwwww. It's just one of those things. People used to get me to do things for them when I worked at an office and not at home, but just mentioning how they were puzzled such and such wasn't working. I'd think, oh ho ho, I'm not falling for that. But then as I was working, my brain would start turning. Why wasn't it working? What had changed? What were the variables? When did it happen? How could I fix it? And then dammit, I was over at their computer, fixing whatever program had stopped working for them.
Thank you to all of our wonderful Blackwall... ummm.. what do we call ourselves? Blackwall fans, for filling out the form and playing detective! We got 39 responses on the form, only 6 got the conversation. So much lovely data, though! lots of rogues and mages in our group. Only 4 warriors. Makes sense though, since Blackwall is a warrior himself. I imagine Dorian might skew the other way, more warriors to fight by his side. Keeping Celene on the throne & keeping the Wardens were also really popular choices for Blackwall runs!
Anyway, you all rock

And also, I would've been soooo happy with some bare forearm action. Just... unff. They did such a good job on his beard, and down his neck though... I'm not gonna complain. ![]()

Since I was doing testing anyway, I tested out the white finery mod for the ball. I like it better than the red clothes, but I'm still hoping for more colors/texture mods for this. I must say though, that Dorian looked absolutely fab in the white.

What did the race distribution for romancing Quizzies end up like? Curious because this is basically the only LI thread (and IB actually, now that I think about it)where Cadash gets really mentioned by people who aren't in the dwarf support thread regulars group, and Adaar seems strangely popular for him too! I imagine it's still more Trevs and Lavs, but I wonder what the overall trend is. Oh, to have access to those stats like someone at Bioware does! I would roll around in a pile of numbers.

Now to get some extra dialogues with my pixel man!
I love that white color for the ball outfits. How does one use that? I've never modded anything, so I have no clue how to do any of that. I will probably break something, but for that color change (even though I like the red as well) I might try.
I really like that art too. Looks like his biggest fear is everyone knowing he has blood on his hands. ![]()

Trust me tho, once mesh replacement and more advanced editing is a go, we are getting that Blackwall chest hair even if I have to do it myself....which would be...well, I'm not very good at this stuff, just stumble through it all, but for that!! I would get my stuff together.

Surprising, there weren't nearly as many Qunari as I thought there would be! But the dwarves nearly beat the elves. I know I still have my dwarf run with him coming up, too. So there's going to be more dwarf fun to be had!
Here's how it broke down:
Dwarf: 8
Elf: 10
Human: 18
Qunari: 3
Mage: 17
Rogue: 17
Warrior: 4
Also, 28 people had the banter bug, and only 11 people didn't.

Thank you, Sheryl! I guess my big question is will this be fixed in the next patch? I have my Blackwall romancer post Revelations and I kinda don't want to finish the game without that conversation. I'm cool letting her chill for a while (plenty of other Inquisitors to play), but if this is something that's not going to be fixed, I'll have to go back forty hours in game play in order to get the conversation. Not the end of the world, but I'd really rather not.
