I just noticed my autocorrect made me write "Blackwater" instead of Blackwall lol.
Credulous Alloy, it sounds like you and I were on the same schedule of playthroughs except my Dorian romance didn't trigger. 
Now I'm a romance with Bull and hope next time I'll get Dorian. Then Cullen. And back to Blackwall

Have you guys seen this yet? Blackwall-No-Beard mod, as well as a stache-free Dorian. I dunno how I feel about a beardless Blackwall (well, as beardless as he can be. He's still got the texture thing going on.) I did catch myself thinking "he's got a purdy mouth", however.

Hmm, nothing wrong with options, but that mod is not for me personally. Maybe that beard would work for some kind of quest mod that explored his earlier life as Rainier (ugh, I'd love a toolset for that reason alone) but other than that, no thanks. But on the bright side, if it really blows someone's hair back and that inspires them to give his romance a try, more Wall-Climbers may result.
The Gaspard no mask one is cool as heck though. And I didn't see it was Eham who posted that, so now I feel bad for the hissing, lmao. But still. shudders. No, bb, Dorian, not happening in my game.
Yeah, I can't support Dorian without his Pringles 'stache, nope.

I love Blackwall as he is, but I definitely appreciate the option of removing the beard. I don't think I'll play a full game with a beardless Blackwall, but if I wanted to reload saves and check him out in cutscenes, then that's definitely there. Like for example, if he shaved after Revelations now that he had nothing to hide. A while back, there were comparison screenshots of him side by side with and without the beard. I thought, wow, his lips were more covered than I thought. I started thinking about scenes where he smiled, but it wasn't as obvious. So yeah, I'd definitely use the mod and check things out. Besides if I can't love him without the beard, then I'm a shallow, shallow woman. (True story: I offered my husband $100 a month if he would NOT shave the mustache he grew out as an experiment. I looooooved it, but he said it was too itchy. *pouts*)
Interesting to see the mod, but I'm more into Blackwall with full beard (or that somewhat more groomed beard from pages and pages back - that one seem alright to me) and Dorian with his 'stache. It's just a little odd for me to see them without (as much) facial hair. I feel like Dorian's 'stache is integral to his look - that and the universe might implode without its presence in the majority of people's games, lol.
EDIT: I think Gilsa makes a good point about checking him out in cutscenes, though - for science and all that?

The second picture is freaking awesome. Now I'm curious what he looks like totally clean-shaven. (I know that's part of his skin, just saying.) Man, I'm extra sorry we didn't get a follow-up cutscene to get to know him as Thom Rainier, but it's understandable since people are still reeling from the shock of Revelations.
