He doesn't appreciate being forced to stay with the Inquisition, but if you free him to atone for his crimes, he stays with the Inquisition of his own free will. He is just fine with staying with the Inquisition, I think he just resents being forced to do so in such a manner. 

 

As far as I know, if Wardens are exiled:

- Give him to the Wardens, he leaves to follow them

- Force him to stay with the Inquisition, he's pissed off but he'll stay

- Free him to atone as he person is he is now, he will stay with the Inquisition

 

Someone can correct me if I've got that wrong.

 

So, it's really up to you what choice you feel comfortable with. I hope that helps!

Back on the Blackwall train, but tbh, not any more of a quality post....I have this tendency to hear songs on the radio and go WHICH DRAGON AGE COUPLE DO I THINK THIS WOULD WORK FOR, and I couldn't stop laughing thinking of Blackwall/Quizzie when Like A Virgin came on earlier tonight.

So I found a slowed down extended version of the romance theme. Makes it sound sadder and more melancholy which I think fits well with Blackwall's romance.

Thanks for the link, I actually think it's better this way. I've always found DA:I's love theme has a mournful sort of tone to it that meshes much better with, say, Blackwall and Solas than the cheerier ones. Still, step up from the old Enya-esque sex music. :S

Posted this picture I took with flycam on tumblr because it made me laugh. Blackwall is supposed to be holding the Warden badge, but because the camera wasn't on him, it didn't render, and I thought he looked like he was doing some community theater, about to bust out into a monologue.

 

 

Tumblebud of mine pointed out that this armor (cropped the way it is in the picture and prob especially in the thumbnail) kind of looks like an adorable squishy belly, and they were so right!!! I didn't like this armor that much before? It's just a weird construction. But now it's like my favorite.

@Bugsie: Ahaha! I love the plaid!! And yes, anytime you referred to your Ciara, I always meant to tell you my Blackwall girl is named Kiara It made reading your story fun, (even though mine is human and not qunari), because, names!

 

@Veeia:  that ranged picture is too good.  I can never get mine lined up right to get pictures together. I also much applaud you on your choice of hairstyles. Olim obviously has very good taste. As he should. That smooth mofo.

 

Dorian gets all the best guys. Putting the smex back in smexy.

Finn is usually pretty light hearted and sassy, even when the world is raining demons, but sometimes he gets that I-will-save-the-world-or-die-trying hero complex. An avalanche of rocks pounding down on his head usually clears that right up.

 

 

 

 

Also, I'm blaming you veeia, because now I'm totally laughing thinking of an AU with Blackwall and quizzie doing some really bad karaoke together at a bar, thank you very much. I can see them getting soused and getting up on the stage, doing these silly embarrassing dance moves to the song. "...until I found youuuuu" (points at Blackwall, who gives a drunken guffaw, and then... oh no, they do the lasso move!)

 

I can't remember if I posted this before or not, but every time I scroll by it, it makes me laugh.

My Thom is smart, just not sly-smart as it would be required in the Great Game, he's naive meaning not double-faced, trustful, and being an introvert  he doesn't like to show off that's it ^^

 

I put daisies in his beard the day we got married, I think that kind of flowers suit him ^^

Hi Mrs. Rainier. Congrats on your wedding. Did you have to get a gown specially made, or do Marchers have a Nug Line? I mean they do in Orzammar, unfortunately that's misleading as it's actually clothing made out of nugs. Oh no, is that offensive? I don't talk to nugs much. @robin: Well, given Blackwall's nug-racing story and that adorable family of nugs in Crestwood, I'm pretty much in favor of nug preservation at this point (accidental blasts from my mage's staff notwithstanding) - nothing to worry about from me at least!

Me too, all the pre-release stuff (or, lack of pre-release stuff. Poor neglected Blackwall.) wedged it into my head. 

 

Do kinda wish we got the choice of what our Inquisitor calls him, though. Cause I can see why some people might be against carrying on with that name afterwards.
