@scuttle: lol! I will say that I had Blackwall fully maxed out on his Champion abilities, so at some point he used his buff/debuff that increases the damage an enemy takes while simultaneously increasing the damage it does. I ended up putting up fairly ridiculous numbers damage-wise with my KE.

Oh, I had his Champion tree maxed out too. Thing is, before that I was desperately trying to get injured on the Storm Coast so he would check on me
For that I changed the difficulty to Normal - which to me was like whoa - set his tactics so he wouldn't use any threatening skills and as a result, he wasn't generating much guard either. I forgot to fix it all when I went dragon-hunting, but he could still use that bolded ability. That got him roflstomped, I guess, since he didn't have any guard. I... guess.
tl;dr: I'm really bad at this game ![]()

OK, I'm going to feel slightly less guilty about killing dragons from now on if they drop armour like that! *whistles*
Was messing around with some screens from the judgment scene in my first PT and I kinda like how these turned out. Bear in mind that I was just playing around and got a little carried away with the B/W tool, so excuse the lack of visual consistency (also excuse the ugly-ass Fereldan throne, lol)
Spoiler
Oh my, those are lovely! ![]()

Correct. Because I like to make myself giggle by making him look horrifying, here is what would happen if you did that.
Maker's balls!!!
OK I had to quote this because I somehow missed it the first time around and it's incredible. Going to give me nightmares, but still incredible. Is that...is that a beard made out of skin!? And his eyes are miniature versions of his mouth? And he's wearing some kind of wig made out of random lips, beard patches and skin flaps!?
I swear, Orlesian parents could use this as a boogeyman figure to get their kids to behave (I know, I know, I'm going to hell)

@ali: I'm wary of updating atm - although I'll probably try it later.
@cat: Ooooh, tatted-up Blackwall - I like! Considering that I'm weirdly addicted to Ink Masters, that works for me - lol.

I was trying to find this awesome Blackwall/Inquisitor as bikers drawing that I saw on tumblr the other day (no luck), but I did see this 3D render of clean-shaven Blackwall!

Just gave you a follow! Mine is a little confusing... since I post most dragon age on my side blog, when-daydreams-collide, but can't follow from there. So you'll see me follow you from my main, thepirateandtheswan!

Lmfao, it is his face texture on his hair, and I can't figure out how to put the eyes on in 3DSmax so it just does weird things.
If you want to see a even worse horror show (legit they are horrifying lmao I was like NOOOO KILL IT WITH FIRE), you should look at these photos of Solas with a Jesus oil painting texture on his face. (um long story)
How's the patch going for you guys? I hear it broke crafting, and I'm too afraid to log back in and check to see if all my meticulous crafting armor for my Nightmare PT is now set to 0.

No problems on my end. I did reload a save, rejudged Rainer, and went to the barn to see if the bugged dialogue got ninja-fixed, but nope.

Oh damn I'm glad I read that. I've been out all day and didn't even know the patch dropped. I'll have to do some voodoo to make sure my game stays unpatched til they fix that shiz.

Wait, Gilsa, so does your crafted armor still hold its value?? Is there hope for some of us?? I love crafting. Sigh Okay. I will load up the game and check. *crosses fingers and toes*
edit: perhaps relevant to some of you too....If you use the mod manager, it also is broken with the latest version of the game. So your installed mods should be fine but until they fix it (unless they've already done it, it's been a few hours and those dudes are fast as heck), you won't be able to switch mods around.
edit: okay he already fixed it. DANG.

Yeah, if you use mods you'll want to download the new modmanager. I think Renmiri is uploading it on nexus, and Eham put it here:
http://daitools.free...2609.html#p2609
If your mods are still working without downloading the new manager & re-merging, there's a chance you're not really running the new patch. I read someone that it was working for, but they realized it wasn't the new patch because there was no run/walk toggle.
Edit: I haven't started up my game yet, I was waiting to hear what was going on first, so all my knowledge is second hand! (or fourth, fifth hand, lol)

Posté 21 janvier 2015 - 03:33
I double checked to be sure, but it was all the same for me.
Edit: OK, going back to see if I have a walk/run toggle. I downloaded something. I saw it! I swear!
Edit2: Walk toggle confirmed. It's blank by default so if you want to start walking, need to bind a key for it.

Oh, interesting! So are the merged mods actually preventing the patch from instalilng?
...maybe....I won't remerge my mods/install the patch until the patch gets a hotfix, lmao, if that's somehow keeping it from being installed? Because I absolutely did download the patch, but I do not have the walk toggle in my key bindings.....
I can live with having floral pjs mod only if it means I can still craft monstrosities that are "stylish" and functional.

On the update & crafting: From what I'm reading, the crafted armor is okay, but the shields may or may not be. Looks like they read 0 armor, but it's unsure if it's a visual bug or a real bug.
#11371
Posté 21 janvier 2015 - 04:07
I was just reading that pre-patch shields are affected, but post-patch crafted shields are not. A nuisance nonetheless. Hm, hopefully this bug gets squashed before the patch hits the consoles.

OH, it's just shields? Psshaw, Blackwall always uses the Cheese Shield, tbh, I'm fine.
Did some more fly cam walking in Blackwall's room. Thought it was worth mentioning that he has a big pile of books next to his bed, maybe he is a nerd after all.

Well, he did mention reading part of Varric's book before... but my memory is telling me that it was only part of one, left at a toilet?? Is that my weird brain, or did that happen? I think it was a banter, but I'll have to check.
Maybe he's always wanted to read, but never had the down time and access to a real library?
I'm going to say he doesn't want Dorian seeing him in the library to make fun of him, so he gets the books from quizzie's room. She has enough books in there to loan out some!

I never had blackwall check up on me in storm coast for some reason:-( Maybe my quizzy ain't purtty enuff.
If he says it to my quizzy (and he did), I can guarantee that your IQ is pretty enough. Because my IQ is a plain Jane.
