I do LURVE taking ss of Blackwall.  And I miss him as my desktop background.  I made the mistake of downloading AC Unity (which I have STILL not played because of the awful optimization on pc) and it takes FOREVER!  And then I have like 120 window updates to do

What happens when you try to record video with your current setup? Stuttering?

I actually haven't even tried to record anything beyond that scene I did for y'all and that was in windowed mode on the lowest settings. I mean I have a different set up, but now I'm curious and also thinking of all the terrible fanvids I could make, possibly to Like a Virgin.

 

Yeah, stuttering and things get slowed down and out of sync. Like it all crawls to a slow. I use fraps, so I might check out a different program, see if it's any better. Back in DAO it worked fine, but that was then :/  I used to help out testing some of the modded Alistair love scenes with different body shapes, so that the modders could see what they would look like, see if they wanted to tweak anything. So my uploads on youtube look like I'm only interested in one thing... sex with Alistair! If only I could video it now, I could branch out... show that I'm also interested in sex with Blackwall and Dorian! hahhaha.

 

At least the scenes aren't in camp anymore, with people spying on you. Well. Except for Dennet. Who always seems to find something very interesting to do right behind Blackwall while you're kissing.

@ryzaki - You can get the schematic early using cheat engine. I haven't done it, but there was a how to use it for dummy's post just yesterday, so I think I'll be giving it a try. Sounds like once you load it up, you can get any schematic you want!

 

I'm another fan of the Hissing Wastes. It's so beautiful there, and I love getting all the conversations in the tombs.

Yeah, I'm actually rather keen on the Hissing Wastes (and it's not just because of the Blackwall banter) - I do think it's one of the more unique environments, and I just like the mood it sets (can't beat that moon overhead). And I do enjoy tomb raiding - hehe.

I only posted the Iron Bull tomb commentaries. I saw the Blackwall ones in here, but completely forgot to copy and paste them into my notepad. The other one I did was all the companions reacting to the nugs in Crestwood. If you missed that, can easily find it and link to it again. I'm in the process of rerolling my canon dwarf now that all the mistakes of the first playthrough are in the rear view mirror. (The only thing I don't change are the major decisions so Grey Wardens will still be banished. Go Team Harrowmont! Yay? He was supposed to die in the epilogue, DAMMIT.)

I like the Hissing Wastes, though it does get a bit lonely after a while with all the emptiness. Especially without party banter.

 

After a while I see a lone NPC in the distance, the first I've seen in ages, only to find it's '...' and she has nothing to say.

This is gorgeous. I still haven't made an elf, but this is really giving me a nudge. Maybe someday I'll see the Solas romance.. or maybe Blackwall will just get to romance alllll the races. (Since he gets a dwarf next!)

I saw her say she'd work on humans next, that the textures between races were not shared, which is why it's just elf only for now. She put a lot of thought into the elf design so I'm curious to see if she'll have a different interpretation for the human one.

Oh, that's lovely! And how awesome of them to remember to make different versions for the different skin tones. I was worried about that before I clicked on it.  I mean it's still not enough to tear me away from my dorf, but I might download the files and see if I can recreate a version like it for dwarves. 

 

...maybe not. I now have like 5 overly ambitious Dragon Age fan related projects going on, I should probably pace myself.

edit: also the best way imo to respond to responses is to install Xkit, which is the best thing ever overall for Tumblr. I love it so much I even bought the mobile version of it.
