@veeia: I love that you post things from tumblr, because my dash moves so fast that sometimes I miss things. And Blackwall singing let it go was something I never knew I needed, but now I wonder how i ever lived without it!!!

No, it's definitely a good idea to reshare things from your tumblr. I plan on doing the same with my own tumblr (haven't had a chance to build it up yet) because back in the DAO days, several of us in the old dwarf thread would nerd out and dig through the toolset for every bit of extra dialogue we could find. (We'd discover that Hespith actually jumped to her death after talking the warden, for example.) So all that got typed up and stored in the dwarf group. We'd reach in there and grab stuff as needed for discussion.

 

Fast forward, what, five years? Old forums are gone. My group memberships are gone. I cannot even remember the name of that group much less find it. All those notes are just gone. Eh. I now know better. Gonna toss up any dwarf info I acquire on tumblr now where I have a bit more control over the content and can continue to share with others. So yeah, don't feel bad about mixing up your tumblr stuff in here. I thought I saw a note from the tumblr staff, something about finding a way to embed tumblr posts into forum posts? It seems to be going in that direction now.

I'm almost finished with my projects for today, and it's looking favorable that I will get to play the game tonight! I haven't had time to play since Sunday, so this is making me happy and I had to share for no reason. I should knock on wood so I don't jinx myself, and get a call about something.

No kids at my house, so I have no real reason for loving Frozen, but I do what I want! Also, since I'm a fan of the tv show Once Upon a Time, we had a whole season of Frozen-related plot, with Elsa & Anna. Which suited me just fine.

Frozen was cute! I think I liked it a lot the first time I saw it, but that was ....so many...viewings ago....I've forgotten. 

 

I had forgotten they popped up on OUAT! I stopped watching that show in season 2 because my favorite character is Baelfire and favorite part of the show was the Emma/Bae/Henry family so I was like I SEE YOU'RE JUST GONNA TEAR OUT MY HEART SO IM LEAVING. I mean also it got kind of boring to me. But I might have to check it out again for that. 

 

Another favorite Blackwall line, because it's very sweet but also like, haha, of course you would say that, buddy.

@alialias - I agree! They did a really wonderful job casting Elsa & Anna.

 

Since I've no kids (except for a 5 yr old niece who has informed me she only wants ELSA stuff not Anna stuff, and that she also has ice magic and did I know she created flower on the wall with her powers?), I've only seen it twice. Much easier to appreciate when it's not surrounding you on a daily basis!

 

@Veeia - that line is one of my favs. It's so funny when you play through more times, and can be like ah-hah! no wonder you think that, I know all your secrets now, mister.

 

I probably would've stopped watching OUAT too, if that'd been me. A lot of times I don't watch shows until they are finished, so I can have all seasons and know what's going to happen. Then I know if it's worth investing in. Or when to pretend the show stopped (the last episode of HIMYM ended when they met. Robin and Ted what? are just friends and she's with Barney? no? lalallala, I can't hear youuuuuu) I'm not sure what's going on with OUAT when it starts up again in March, except Cruella de Ville, Ursula and Maleficent have all joined the cast, lol. They sent Anna and Elsa home, probably for Disney to start doing their own sequel. I'm actually not as invested atm, because Blackwall   I only ever have time for one obsession at a time. Heaven help me if I start modding or writing. DAO held the number one space as my obsession for longer than I care to admit.

Yeah Anna is ok but she doesn't have POWERS! I imagine if all the little kids who loved frozen played DA:I they'd make mages specializing in ice magic

I just tried, and it won't connect for me either. I haven't patched yet, don't know if that would do anything. It's stuck on saying "waiting for signin.ea.com"

Ahh, I had this foolish idea that I'd be sneaky about changing names (how?!), but nope. Truth be told, my original handle was tied to a particular avatar that I don't use anymore, so I figured it was time for a change. And thank you!

I progressed too far to reload by the point I discovered this bug, so I just finished the game as it was, but being unable to complete Cole's arc was really frustrating, since he is my favorite companion. 

Tbh, I prefer no-child worldstate more, even though Morrigan is extra sweet around her son. But that scene where Morrigan tries to summon Mythal is downright hillarious. 

Morrigan: Come, Mythal, I call upon thee!

Flemeth appears.

I laughed so hard, I couldn't even feel bad for Morrigan. And the fact that it was her who had drunk from the Well didn't help either.

 

Well, I've yet to see that scene since in my first playthrough Morrigan had no baby because Loghain killed the Archdemon without ritual - I could share Alistair with her in my first DAO run but Loghain is mine, dead but mine!  -  and my second run went kablooie, so...

I have a question about Blackwall's story....

 

I'm doing my 2nd playthrough and have gotten to nearly the end of the game. Only the very last battle with Corphy is next, but Blackwall has yet to leave for Val Royeaux! He did that in my 1st playthrough, as he so famously does. I also haven't had the drinking scene with him, yet, which would explain why he hasn't left. It just won't trigger for some reason. Does Blackwall sometimes stick around? Is his leaving for V.R. approval-based, or something?
