Do you think Blackwall favors wine over beer? I think he's a red wine amateur and that he's fond of cheese, after all he lived in Orlais= France, cheese and wine must be his match made in heaven

He does seem to have more than a casual interest in cheese (I might be projecting, but I refuse to pursue that line of thought any further!) I imagine Blackwall liking both wine (probably not white wine though, imo) and beer, but having a marked preference for beer.

@cat: That is one fine-looking sandwich. As for Blackwall's preferences, I believe that while we were in Emprise du Lion, he definitely mentioned mulled/spiced wine (at least twice - I guess he was really cold while we were there, hehe).

So, In my current pt I have been chatting up Solas, Cullen and Blackwall.  I have all 3 at their committal part of their stories.  Choices, choices.  *rubs hands together*

I'm very interested in what was hinted at in DA2 with the message from Avernus to Warden-Commander, hinting at some major revelation with the Grey Wardens. Really curious over what that will lead to, considering Cassandra seemed to attack a Warden fortress. Would it be possible that the wardens will have a change of heart concerning their role merely being that of stoping Blights, while some still cling to that ideology?

 

Would certainly make the Wardens even more interesting, considering Wardens are very boring and useless when there are no Blights, at least in my opinion.

If after adamant you side with the southern wardens they split with Weisshaupt and begin to help rebuild the south.  They become less secretive and more proactive in working for the people in general.  No matter what you do the northern wardens go silent and whoever you sent (Hawke, Alistair, Stroud, or Logain) disappears along with them.  No doubt whatever happened up north is terrible.

 

Did the northern wardens hear corypheus' fake calling?  

My opinion - No.  There are wardens in Nevarra, Tevinter, and ofc the Anderfels.  No word came of any other wardens other than Orlesian/Ferelden having any issues.  

 

In reality - Maybe but even the ending wrap up only mentions that they disappeared.  What ever happened would have happened post-adamant and possibly much longer after that since Hawke et. al. would have needed significant travel time to get to the Anderfels.

(Just in case - Goon - Aus slang for cheap wine. Often comes in a 4 Litre Cask for around $10 Australian dollars.
'Magic Goon' is wine mixed with lemonade, OJ etc.)

I've been doing some drawing this afternoon. Just pencils, nothing fancy and currently doing a digital touch up because I added a wee bit of colour and it looks like crap (my colour knowledge is pretty poor). Bit rusty, but I think it's looking good so far. Will share later!

Mmmm then i should get writing? There IS some good stuff out there, but you have to look for it. Lots of people really get his character reeeeeally wrong and it makes my head hurt. 

 

I took a ton of notes from my playthrough just because I wanna write fic and also I think my Cadash deserves some kind of journal. Endless notes of random observations, stuff people said, ridiculous sappy Blackwall moments... it should all go into some kind of story/greater good.  

 

... which might get distracted by Ser Gideon Trevelyan but I will see. I will also see if I still think that my hour+ in the character creator worked out, hahahah. It looked really good in it, and then the first time he looks up at Cassandra I'm thinking.... no. WHAT is going on Greeneyes you're going to end up eating her FACE with that look. 

 

But since I've been called for jury duty tomorrow and they say I can bring my laptop... lol, I am so writing when I'm not working or JUDGING THE PEOPLE. I'm going to be all like the Inquisitor in court you guys, like "OK THIS GUY IS GOING TO WORK FOR US HELPING THE PEOPLE" and see if they kick me out. Maybe?

I'm still fiddling around with Chapter 3, which is partially complete. I haven't actually made up my mind about a certain major plot point, so I may retool things from the halfway point, depending on whether or not I like how it turns out. I'm perfectly willing to trash pages of material if it's not working for me - heh.

@xety: You never know - you could always give it a whirl! Besides, I doubt that anyone will be particularly judgmental. The way I see it, you're probably still light years ahead of some of the authors that I've been stuck with (I formatted some manuscripts last week that were real howlers).
