People who attack other people over their grammar on internet forums are the worst, tbh.
It's prettty Anglocentric, because yeah, not everyone has English as a first language. And even when people do, this idea that you have to communicate in a certain "proper" way to enter a dialogue about fictional dragons, lol. Language gatekeeping is always ridiculous, but especially when you're talking about fictional characters, like bro, you know what they meant. Or if you don't, you can ask politely. It also is never relevant to the discussion at hand and is usually someone trying to score cheap points like "oh crap you just totally owned me i have no real response to this oh wait I see a grammatical error here lets highlight that because there's nothing else to pick apart LOL WOW LEARN ENGLISH"
Just trust me when I tell you that someone who is attacking your English probably is making like 5 grammatical errors themselves in their posts because a) English is a bad of wriggling cats andpeople who are that pedantic and awful usually don't even know what they're talking about. And if they're not making mistakes like that, they're still a sad, sad person.
Heh, didn't bother me much though. My big mouth and being opinionated made up for the lack of grammar. I got my point across, just in a broken sort of way :-)
