Bit late, but I would send him to the wardens if your gut says so. I think life as a warden will hit home pretty quick. I'd like to think he'd choose that fate for himself though too (I head canon that much.)

I don't get to touch his face as a dwarf during that scene and that annoys me waaaaaay more than not being able to do it during the repeatable kiss. She's on top of the freaking stairs. How much higher does she have to be?! =p Awkward scene is awkward, but just let me touch that beard, c'moooooon. Just once?
@SgtSteel -- I didn't give him to the GW for two big reasons. He needed to make that choice himself instead of being told to do it. It was my understanding that he feared that they'd think he killed Blackwall so he didn't come clean. I told him to atone on his own terms and there's still a chance that he has a genuine desire to join the Wardens once he decompresses from being so tightly wound with his guilt. Secondly, I played a thug Cadash. If I handed him over to the Wardens, then I needed to fall in line behind him and sign up as well. Nope. =p Good luck with your game. You've put a lot of thought into this!

Wow, seeing Michiel Huisman in the avatar and posts (a few posts/pages back - you ladies/gentlemen are so fast). He'd make a great Blackwall! And I normally hate matching real life people with fictional characters. However, I always had a soft spot for my fellow countryman.

That scene was funny to watch zoomed out, they blink the characters to different spots as the conversation progresses. At one point, my quizzie was "sitting" on a non-existent air throne.

There are a few people I would be okay with as the live version of Blackwall, and he's right at the top.
I could have sworn I had my quizzy touch his face once or twice, but mostly he just goes right for the kiss without any touching. I've sent him to the Wardens once and then reloaded and made him free ever since. I've played this scene a couple of times more for... purely scientific reasons, but I'm pretty sure I haven't touched his face most of the time. That's why I asked if making him a Warden was the key. I've chosen the top or bottom options when taking him back, "We'll figure it out" and "Start with honesty", and picked both "let's start over" and "I couldn't let you go or sth" interchangeably and most of the times there'd been no touching.
Just confirmed: freed him, said "let's start over" then "start with honesty" and no touching. Proof: that's the screen as he leans for a kiss, no hand on his cheek. And apparently I picked "I never loved you" in the prison and his extra line during the judgement broke my heart, again

@SgtSteele, I'm a bit late, but I always free him to atone as himself mostly because of selfish reasons (LI). But I do think that since there's a big chance that the Joining could kill him, it's a potentially wasteful option - if he dies before he gets the chance to actually do something, then it's hardly any different from leaving him in Val Royeaux, only with more resources wasted/reputation tainted from breaking him out. I think the Wardens choice is a good option, Maker knows they could use someone like him, if he actually lives through the Joining.

Just cause seeing that paraphrase after he's being all mushy and dramatic made me laugh my arse off.
@Snook: I love choosing "who are you again?" in the end scene. It's so effing cute, and he totally laughs. I love it.
@Scuttle: Weird about the judgment scene, not touching his face! I ran through the different options, both with setting him free and giving him to the wardens, and then both sides with "I couldn't let you go" and "let's start over", and then the three choices each of those led to, and got the touching scene every time. My girl is human -- is yours human or elf? I couldn't tell from the picture. Either it has to do with race, or it has to do with an earlier dialogue choice.

Also, I usually set Blackwall free to atone. I think either option works, I just like to keep him free (and with me, lol. I'm selfish like that.)

The hands stay at the sides and then when he reaches the top to lean in for the kiss, she puts both of her hands on his arms (the part that's bound together) as if she's steadying herself while they kiss. And when they both pull back, there's an indication that her far arm is touching the side of his arm. That's it. I'm wondering about Adaar now that you mention it. There was a complete Adaar romance video that got posted in here. I bookmarked it to watch later. I completely forgot about that. I'll have to check it out in the morning.
Guys if you choose the " just keep me company" in the final scene of wicked hearts, will it just fade to black or some other scene comes up?.

Funny story. I knew that Iron Bull would ask for a dance, but they'd just head inside like they were gonna do it on the main floor. So I skipped that option and asked him to stay with me, fully expecting a cuddle scene and got this:

I just chose this line tonight (for science, natch) and felt like an epic shitheel. Then I chose the "no love without trust" option for extra FMLness. It was almost awesome in a real "I hate me" kind of way.
Reloaded, of course! But very interesting to experience.

Wow. Adaar is wonderful in that scene. I love how her hand cups his face, and then both hands rest on his shoulders. She looks so commanding. Like, it wasn't so much he that kissed her, but she kissed him. And I love it.
