So, I've been recording all the cutscenes this playthrough, and I was wondering if you guys have any songs you associate with Blackwall's romance (or that would make for a good music video featuring Blackwall?).  I enjoy making music videos for Dragon Age  .  I like to plan these things ahead (way ahead- she just got to Skyhold ).

 

We were just talking about this! lol.

 

I'm partial to a lot of the Hozier songs, and the Damien Rice songs off "My Favourite Faded Fantasy".

I love the modern folk music for him, right now Vance Joy in particular but the Civil Wars, Hozier, Stubborn Love by the Lumineers...

@veeia: I love that song. I'm embarrassed to say I first heard it on the Voice, by Cole Vosbury. I still love that version the most, probably since it was the version I heard first.

Ok at the gym and heard Clarity by Zedd, totally works for post revelations feelings before they make up. If you want to make a more dance/popy video

Well if we're talking folky poppy, I'd nominate Sim Sala Bim by Fleet Foxes. It's sort of restless and impressionistic, and full of Blackwall-ian imagery, imo.

Heh, I just got to Skyhold and I started throwing together a Blackwall video to "The One That Got Away" by The Civil Wars XD (linked from Sheryl Chee's playlist for Blackwall).  I don't have nearly enough clips to make a video but I have an idea for my final product  , at least for this video.  I also really like the Hozier and Damien Rice songs that were recommended.

Have we ever done a "meet my character" kind of thing here? We should! Something like, hey this is her or him with screenshots, this is what they're like, this is what they think of Blackwall/how they deal with him, etc. What do you folks think?

Me, I didn't like my first horrible attempt at an Inquisitor and Trevelyan Mage #1 had duck lips - which bugged me and still bugs me to this day. I guess Mage Trevelyan #2 is acceptable, but I didn't start uploading screenshots until I finally got Blackwall that hot armor that I felt compelled to take screenshots of - lol.

I made a Trevelyan that I was absolutely in love with. Even posted screenies of her in the Show Your Inquisitor thread. And then I was dumb enough to post a screen to my facebook page, and every relative under the sun came to tell me how much she looked like my mother. And then I had to reroll because it was awkward...

I love this idea and it reminds me that I never got around to answering your previous question about our Inquisitors, even though I was super excited to. Lemme think!

No idea -- I haven't been here long enough to see if that happened, but I think that's a fantastic suggestion. I can work on making mine if there's a template or guideline on what questions to answer. That sounds like a lot of fun. There's a wide range of interpreting different relationships with Blackwall. I love seeing him through everyone's individual filter.

I love screenshots, and always have to stop myself from posting them, because I feel like I post them too often. Like, I LOVE THEM. LOOK. DON'T YOU LOVE THEM TOO??! Say you do!

 

I hit post before i finished, which just shows you how much i love pictures.

 

Anyway, yes, I think this would be a wonderful idea. I love seeing and reading how other people's games and characters went, since they can all be so different!

@gorgo: lol! Well, it's safe to say that my current mage-quisitor looks nothing like me or my mom. Wait, I typed "hot armor" up there when I meant to say "glorious armor" - well...he did look hot in that armor. My unconscious mind seems to be getting the better of me atm. Hmm, I have a couple of shots, but I should get better ones first.

So, um... I went up to talk to Cole and he said this gem.  I haven't heard it on previous playthroughs, so I'm guessing it's Blackwall romance related?  I actually laughed out loud when he said that.
