There is also a conversation with Iron Bull (romance only) in which they discuss what safe words they'd think other companions would use. In regards to Blackwall, Iron Bull said, "Hmm ... 'petit-alms.' Get deep enough under that armor, there's a man who lived the good life once."
I had no idea what petit-alms were so I did a bit of googling. (Thought it was some pastry!) The term came up in "Dragon Age: Asunder." (Excerpt found here.)
He laughed when a group of children assembled by the road, shouting for petit alms. It was Orlesian tradition, after all, and Rhys wished he had coins to throw them.
I thought that was nice foreshadowing, that Iron Bull picked an Orlesian word for gold coin for Blackwall.
