Can you please record and post the judgment scene when you pick the harsh dialogue in prison? I want to see this version everyone keeps talking about but I can't do it myself   and can't find it on YT either

I can still upload the "mean" version of the prison scene (but she'll calm down by the judgment scene) when I get to it.  I probably will have a hard time going through that scene XD - I want all the angst and feels, though.  ALL OF THEM

Can you believe I had my eyes set on teh beard for my first playthrough, but then Bull happened? >.> I'm still feeling equal amounts of regret and okayness. Somehow slaying a dragon seemed less challenging than finding some Warden stuff scattered around the world.

Nothing wrong with that. I mean, I think just appreciating Blackwall as a character is enough- you don't have to Ride the Beard if Riding the Bull is more to your current Inqy's tastes.

 

And yeah, in some ways dragon slaying is easier (and more lucrative). If the Exalted Plains had been one of the spots for Beardy's Grey Warden paraphernalia hunt, I would have flat out not completed it. Too much search fatigue already, and that particular map made my head go funny.

I personally love the "I never loved you" to "You said you bore no love for me" route because that time it's Quizzie who gets to be reactionary and human and Blackwall is the one who steps up and is brave.

 

Bioware doesn't really give you a ton of opportunities to be flawed like that, so I'm all for it. Even though it's hard to click and I definitely went for "Maker, I have the worst taste in men" the first time WHICH I THINK IS ACTUALLY WORSE lmfao, because it's so detached, I was like "wth, did my Quizzie just become Sarcastic!Hawke?? and then the top option after I reloaded.

Just make sure you get the Deft Hand perk ASAP because some of those Warden shinies are hidden behind locked doors - lol.

Regarding that last hypothetical? Literally the first thing I thought of:

I would take it, but my Blackwall romancer is the epitome of "special brand of tone-deafness." She would have made an excellent Hawke, tbh. 

 

I am kind of sad that we didn't get hilarious Hawke-style lines, but I did like "IVE GOT MORE OF THEM IN MY ROOM" and "Maker, I have the worst taste in men", so the BW romance was kind of good for that.

Given how embarrassed he gets when Sera reveals she knows about him getting jiggy in the loft with the Inquisitor, I reckon he'd be both - all embarrassed in public but later on he'd appear in your quarters like: "Sooooooooo....about my arse. Wanna see it?" *wiggles eyebrows*

Hi, I have a question, I apologize if you already discussed this but ...

 

I'm currently playing my third run though I still have to finish my second because of bug.

 

I'm just back from Crestwood and have 41 power points, in theory I could already do the WEWH quest but Blackwall hasn't yet asked me to accompany him to the Storm Coast to retrieve the badge. What happens if I do the Halamshirall Ball now? He will not ask me to dance I guess, ok, but if he leaves after that quest I'll never even have the chance to start the romance with him... I'm confused, how does it work?

This is how it worked for me: We got to Skyhold, talked to him and got the scene on the battlements where he pushes you away. Then I went out into the world, did some stuff, went to talk to him again and it triggered a cutscene where he tells you about the Grand Tourney and the old chevalier. Then straight after that cutscene, I clicked on him again and he apologised for 'pushing me away', but if I was agreeable he would show me why - then I got the Explanations quest in my log, went to the Storm Coast with him and upon return to Skyhold got the cutscene in the Inquisitor's room, and the romance started officially. All this was before doing WEWH or Here Lies the Abyss.

 

Edit: may be an obvious thing to say, but I'm not sure if you need a certain level of approval to trigger all the scenes - I would imagine that you do.

 

Edit 2: IIRC, all the Revelations (ie the leaving) stuff only occurs after the Siege of Adamant in the Here Lies the Abyss main mission
