Here you go.  I got to that part and uploaded the prison scene using all the harsh dialogue options, and the judgment which happened afterwards.

Lol at the first screeny - I had that happen to me too. To be honest I thought it looked like he was about to burp - we had just been drinking in the tavern after all haha!

I think that's the point. Helping your IQ cover up what he seems to consider to be an abuse of power would be uncharacteristic of him at the stage he is in. Plus, he's angry.

I had a VERY appropriate bug today, by the way. The entire court simply didn't load for the judgement scene, so it was just me, Josephine and a couple of guards. Now I can easily headcanon that nobody heard that "you used your connections you criminal!" bit.

I've gotten that glitch before. I get loading errors like that sometimes when I'm running on lower graphics settings. At first I thought it was just an artifact of that, aka less background NPCS, but then sometimes they would just dramatically fall from the sky into place so. Who knows.

Well, I guess I'll see how the judgment plays out glitch-wise after I get my new laptop (my current one officially died last night). I had finally made a semi-acceptable new Inquisitor before disaster struck, so that was couple of hours of planned playthrough #3 down the tubes (had just gotten to Haven again). This certainly does give me a really good excuse to romance Blackwall yet again, along with a few days of unintentional vacation from work - lol.

Since the new rig should hit a 3Dmark score of 14k, I should be good to go with everything cranked up (if the game will play nicely with SLI...).

To be fair though, she should have thought about that before she decided to judge him in public. Especially if she tried to hide the Inquisition's involvement in breaking him out. That's my biggest gripe with this scene tbh.

Okay, I've had all of these. I thought his neck wasn't visible because he tilted his head like that, but it does look like his head grows straight out of his shoulders here. I guess I was too busy flailing and swooning to pay attention after all   They should really work on their aim, too

I'll give you that. I think the whole scene should have been conducted in private. It just didn't feel like it makes sense to be a judgement scene.

 

I think the animators dropped the ball a bit, because while I adored the dialogue, I felt the setting was very off.

Sorry to hear about your computer Atreiya! Glad you've got the means to line a new one up quickly, and sounds like a nice one!

But your new char should be still around, unless you weren't online at the time? God bless Origins cloud saving...I did not back up my saves anywhere else the first time my computer crashed and I was like NOOOOOOOoooo oh wait duh, they're there.

Name: Robin Trevelyan

 

Age: 24

 

Race: Human

 

Attitude: Rebellious spirit, tomboy, naive, cocky, good-hearted. I'm a snarky one, I have black hair and blue eyes, medium/clear skin and tiny ferret-like features. 

 

Theme song: Save me, Queen, 1979

 

Backstory: Robin never went along with her parents and was labeled as the black sheep of the Trevelyan family when she was only ten. Her older sister grew up a respectable lady and married, too young, a fat bald marquis to acquiesce her parent's will. At the age of 30 she's now mother of 2 spoiled brats and happy with her life of luxury. 

Her brother's always been her best and only friend. He was good with sword and shield and secretly taught Robin the basis of fighting, but when he realized she was a natural archer, with that slender and agile body and quick reflexes, he sent her to a friend of his, a dalish from a nearby clan who introduced her to the elven way of archery. 

Much to her mother's dismay at the age of fifteen Robin decided to shave the left side of her head after tearing a lock of hair out while shooting an arrow. When her training was complete she accepted to wear the dalish clan's ritual tattoo. That day her mother stopped talking to her at all, Robin did not complain. 

 

How they came to the Inquisition: It was Robin who asked her parents to go to the Conclave, it was a good excuse go away from home for a while, a quick way to escape the attentions of her suitors, and a chance to prove herself.

 

How do they feel about the Inquisition and/or leading the Inquisition: Robin spent the first 24 years of her life wondering why she was so different from all the other young noble women, feeling that her life must have some strange, unknown purpose. With the mark she's been given a great power and she knows it brings a great responsibility, so she tries to do the right things following her conscience.

 

Favorite Zone: The Hinterlands, lake Luthias, because.

 

Companion they get along with most: She tries to see the good in everyone and appreciate people for what they are. She strongly believes in collaboration, knowing their victory will be the result of team work. The different points of view are a source of power and not a weakness as long as there's mutual respect. She admires those who show enough wit and the humility to change their mind when they learn something new or realize their point of view was wrong. Sera and Cassandra are her best friends, though they don't get along with each other.

 

Companion they get along with least: Vivienne, for the way she feels superior to commoners. Furthermore she should show respect for a man who's fighting alongside with her and who happens to be the Inquisitor's lover. Men should be judged by their actions.

 

Love Interest: Blackwall... really?

 

Reason for choosing that love interest: A huge deal of phisical attraction, and not only for his looks but also for the intense, resolute gaze telling a story of courage and determination. He's always been an open book to me and I could look straight in his soul since the first... official screenshot!

 

What were their feelings towards Blackwall: Love at first sight. Robin knew the day she recrtuited the lone warden that she had just found the man of her dreams.

 

How did they handle Revelations: At first a huge shock. When she stood in front of the gallows in Val Royeaux she gasped in disbelief, feeling the ground collapse under her feet.

Later she walked towards the prison like a ghost, but when she saw him she just wanted to hug him. He looked so broken and yet so stalwart and dignified. She listened to his story knowing it was the story of a man who didn't exist anymore, knowing she had already forgiven him for everything because he was ready to give his life to prevent an injustice. She was proud of him, proud of his courage.

 

Religious Views: She believes in nothing and everything at the same time. She knows she doesn't know and so she's open to all possibilities. 

 

Their greatest flaw:Being naive, the nobles would eat her alive in the Grand Game, thank the Maker there's Josephine to deal with them.

 

What did they do after things settled down: They got married in secret after Robin discovered she was pregnant, then he left to take his Joining and came back soon after to keep working with the Inquisition as a warden. Alistair and his beloved Hero of Ferelden will be the ones who will take the responsibility to rebuild the Order.

Just out of curiosity what exactly triggers the dialogue with Blackwall that leads to the background story and his subsequent revelation? My first game I got it. Just finished the second game without ever getting it and here is the deal: I did his memories of the grey quest and I also made damn sure to exhaust his dialogue wheel. When I kept getting nothing in terms of new options and I had taken him on mission I gave up. Just wondered what triggers it specifically if his quest and his wheel do not?
