Lol, fair enough. Solas was the first romance I tried in DA: I (unspoiled about the truth), so it had a pretty big impact LOL. Tears were shed after the ending

I'm not a huge fan of the Solasmance but I adore Solas. And my complaints do mostly have to do with the lack of content, tbh, because I think if it was fleshed out more my problems with it would be lessened a lot and I'd like it a lot more. My headcanon Solas romance stuff is fun.
I like all the romances tho, tbh. I've played through most of them (not all the way for all of them, I character hop a lot, but I'll finish them all eventually) but Josie and IB, and I watched a friend play Josie's and will do my own run eventually, and am currently romancing IB and enjoying it a lot.
faves are def Dorian, Blackwall, and Sera tho. My babies.

Josie's romance isn't my thing, neither is Cullen's tbh, but I have fun coming up with characters to make it work for me.
My Josiemancing character is gonna be my old battleaxe Granny Cadash, who will duel for her honor while cussing like a madwoman and wearing a floral suit she sewed herself out of draperies she stole from a house she set on fire during a Carta raid.
...so uh, not a typical Josie romance and probably gross to most of her romancers but IM GONNA HAVE FUN and that's all that matters.

@ Loyal Nub, first time I had to 'repair' the game through Origins to get Wicked Grace to activate (as well as to trigger a dozen other conversations in Skyhold, the Cass trash reading choices etc...)
Approval/disapproval is tied to certain events. I can’t get Viv’s personal quest to trigger this playthrough because my approval is so low with her. Also, I think the constant dialogue line from Blackwall about how I’m chasing the lady seeker seems tied to the fact my approval with Cassandra is kind of through the roof.
In another strange thing – everytime I speak with Cullen the flirt option is still available to me even though I’m in romance with Dorian.
I might try repairing the game if, in this third campaign, I still don't get the wicked grace or Blackwall's revelation. I see others have commented about the romance/flirt options. I agree with Veeia in that it's there to spice things up and it can be an "out" I guess if you want end the relationship your in although I have not tried that so can't say that it is a certainty.
It's weird. I've had playthroughs where I didn't get the card game until after the Mythal Temple and others where I've gotten it before doing the storm coast, which is why I thought it was tied to his war table missions.

Hah! It is! I had a theory last night about why the Varric/Wicked Grace scenario appeared for me in the first game despite me not taking the red lyrium quest. I wonder if it can trigger if you don't take the red lyrium quest but still do the Bianca one, Hard in Hightown, and maintain high approval? I.e. because I did accept the red lyrium quest but failed to complete it the game locked me out of the wicked grace scene. Does that make sense? It's just something that came to mind last night for me.

The only ones I've done *giggity* so far are Sera and Josie, only tried Josie's once for curiosity and erm I won't bother again. I like her but it was horribly dull. I need to get around to making a bloke for Dorian soonish.

I think completing "well, sh*t" leads to being able to do the card game. I know I got it in my last pt and I haven't finished doing the table missions for him yet and I *think* i hadn't gotten all 12 of the red lyriums yet either.
Kalalala: I loved all 3 of your videos. I'm currently doing Solas atm and that song......I really didn't like him when the game came out because he disapproved of everything I said and did but some how ended up my friend anyways. Playing as an elf you get a little more to the story from him and it's nice.
Soon as I finish this pt I've got another lined up for Blackwall and Cullen and from now on it will always be those 2 and maybe another Cass. I might get around to Sera/Dorian/IB at some point. But Blackwall is just too good to stay away from.

I've got to lean towards my case of not getting it being a bug then. Because I did "well sh*t" and I had decent favorability with him and had done his Hightown stuff to completion. So something went wrong on the games end and I also didn't get the Blackwall scenario so this time around if it doesn't all pop into place I may do a game repair.

"Well, ****" does lead to the card game. It glitched for me once - the quest did not closed correctly and cardgame cutscene did not fired. Journal's "cleaning" sometimes helps in this case.
