Hey guys - I've really tried to look through this thread but I can't find it - just recently learned of the dialogue you can miss with a romanced Blackwall after Revelations if you don't leave any convo tree options open. Can anyone provide the link of what exactly that conversation entails? What does he say? Much obliged!
Wait... I had understood that you must not use all dialogue options in Haven, but after I was in Skyhold I used them all ..soooo bugged dialogue, again?

You have to leave at least one option in his "Let's talk about you" tree, as far as I understand, and I think that has to last all the way until Revelations.

I haven't done many runs until now, during the day I have to clean the house, wash clothes, cook, walk the dogs, cut the wood for the stove, and in the evening my bf steals the console, so I play no more than 2 hours a day. I'm not so fed up with all the dialogue uptions and furthermore I'm a masochist, so I play with subtitles and codex in English and it slows me down a bit, I often have to stop playing to search the meaning of words... sigh ç_ç
My first run was on xbox 360, the writings were too small and were clear grey on a dark grey, transparent background, reading was simply impossible so I'm reading all the codex for the first time ... I still can't believe I paid full price for the 360 version, also the graphics was terrible 
I just discovered why my achievements in the keep are 0%... I checked my heroes in the Inquisition section, they're twelve and they all are nothing but abortive attempts at faces I made -and anyway I'm sure I made many more than twelve.
They are all 'heroes' I quickly canceled after seeing how badly their faces morphed ingame. My Rowen from the 360 run has not been akwnowledged, nor my current Robin, nor my Kyra, the elf I abandoned after 40+ hours because of wrong world state and Cole bug... wtf!!!

Many of them have the same names. How the hell am I supposed to figure out which one among the army of Trevelyan mages is the real one? 
Same goes for Lavellans. At least with Cadash I can give her a new name in the future, different from all those already exported into the Keep.
At least let him do the wood cutting :-p Just tell him he'll get extra romance option from you cuz he would look like Blackwall on that wood chopping scene :-)
Ah ah he does, at times, during the weekend, but it's been my job for many years and I enjoy it ( I was a tree-climber and 'woodsman') ;D
Now he's the only one working so I do all the 'housewife' jobs... plus some wood cutting

Me too, I made about 3-4 Leonie Trevelyan the warrior, and when I finally liked the face I abandoned her because I realized that if I always wanted Blackwall by my side I could never have also Cassandra or Iron Bull ... too many warriors in the party, so I abandoned her very early, in Haven... and I have an army of Lavellan mages too, never went over the intro though <.<
My only finished run until now is my Rowen on 360 and the keep just ignores her existence, my Robin is nowhere to be seen too and I'm at Halamshiral right now, 48 hours of gameplay, countless rifts closed, Blackwall smooched to the death xD
My biggest problem is that Lavellan smiles on the balcony. It's like what the hell, yes you just saved the world, but your clan is dead, your vallaslin are gone, you broke Solas' orb and your true love left you forever!
I feel like she would have left the party to go up to her room to sob, not smile at the sunrise.
Meh. My Lavellan's clan is alive, her vallaslin is still on her face and frankly as much as she liked Solas his constant belittling of her people and culture grew tiresome really quickly

Ugh, I kind of wish I romanced Blackwall. I'm sooo tired of dalishphobia in this game... Blackwall though never judged my Lavellan for being a dalish, a mage, choosing templars or mages... My bestie. Buuut... not romancing the damn Fen'Harel with a dalish is impossible
Solas is totally the equivalent of romancing Loki. It's just hard to not have repeatable kisses with Tom Hiddleston, that's all. =p

Yeahhhh, I feel you on the Solasmance wrt Dalish crap. With my elf, I had gotten past the part where I could romance Blackwall with her when I found out about the Solas stuff (Plus they hated eachother), so I ended up throwing her at Cullen. But Blackwall is one of the few LI who actually has nice things to say about the Dalish, which is hilarious.
I really wish Solas wasn't race gated because he's so lovely and his romance has a lot of depth but its just...so...like come on, could we not make the the romance that's restricted to Dalish elves another boot stomping on the Dalish? No?
(I did romance him eventually but I couldn't do it with my very religious, very Dalish and proud sweetipie elf.)
ANYWAY to push things back to Blackwall...god I just love him at the ball, because he's one of the few companions standing in a well lit place (all dem candles, so romantic~~) and he looks so good and I like the way he stands and also his face.
Finished "In Hushed Whispers" and compared screenshots to my first PT. Blackwall still stepped up as a sacrifice to buy them time (and got his body dragged in) in both games. It didn't seem to matter who I found first. The group order was different in both games, too, so that's not a factor either. I had Varric both times so it's probably based on character priority. Maybe tanks go first instead of support? (Now I'm curious who would speak up first if both Blackwall and Cassandra were in the group.)
I'm kinda randomly curious about this part of the scene now. I have done 'In Hushed Whispers' twice now - 1st time companions were Iron Bull and Blackwall, don't remember what order I found them in, not certain who spoke up first, Iron Bull was the one dragged in by the demon. 2nd PT was Cass and Sera, definitely found Cass first, Sera spoke up first about sacrificing themselves to buy time, and it was Cass who was tossed on the floor.
At first I theorised that it is the 'beefier/tankier' companion who gets dragged in by the nasty lanky demon, but then I saw a Reddit post where a player had taken in Cass and Varric, and it was Varric who was thrown down when the demons burst in. So not really sure how it is decided - perhaps it is entirely random. Very curious now, not sure I could handle seeing Blackwall's body tossed aside 
Edit: I always have trouble telling which way round those lanky demons are

And he cuddles you! That was exactly what Abaeni needed after letting Celene die; she felt so guilty and he was there for her. *swoon*
@Rosalee -- Yay for trying to figure out the science of this! I eat this stuff up. It's like figuring out the formula for being able to pull up your love interest in the end of ME2, etc. =p
AND I was wrong in what I said originally because I double checked my screenshots and saw that I was wrong about Blackwall being dragged in both times. Both games I had Blackwall and Varric. This is what happened:
PT#1: Group order is Dorian, Varric, and Blackwall. Found Varric first (he spoke about Celene). Blackwall stepped up as sacrifice. VARRIC got dragged in.
PT#2: Group order is Dorian, Blackwall, and Varric. Found Blackwall first (Celene). Blackwall stepped up as sacrifice. BLACKWALL got dragged in.
Edit: That video you linked has Dorian, Blackwall, and Cassandra in that order. Blackwall was the one dragged in.
I'm theorizing that the first party member in your group list (other than Dorian) is the one that gets dragged in. Hopefully some others can confirm this with their own results.

I think I only heard him mentioning them when we found the elven something in Emerald Graves and he said "We should give it to the Dalish, they have a claim to it" or something. And then my Dalish Inquisitor says "Yeah, but the Chantry would pay good coin for it" or w/e

Back to DAI - who gets dragged in seems to depend on who was recruited first; found Viv first and then Blackwall, Blackwall stepped up, Viv got dragged in. Definitely going to test that theory in another playthrough (for science).
Missed the post-Revelatoins dialogue; also missed the one about cooking eggs with the quizzie's mark, is that another bug? (Had no big problems with bugs, then after the latest patch some of the bodies started levitating...)
