I kind of hope they're not going to do Wolf Hunt, tbh. I just don't care enough for Solas to spend money on a DLC that is centered around him and my quizzy has enough to worry about without chasing down a guy she barely got along with. On the other hand, if he's trying to bring back the Creators or something, then I should probably get involved - as much as I love the Dalish, something's telling me that their "gods" are better off sealed away. It would be a treat to Solasmancers though, so that would be nice, at least. I think the Solas content should be left for the later games, but that's just me.
Though I really don't want to see any of that (sorry, lol), I agree that DAI needs an Awakenings-like expansion, only with the current companions.
As short as my playthrough was due to me not knowing everything on it, I loved Awakening. Personally, I think Sigrun should return in some form or fashion, but that's just me (and you probably don't want to hear my ideas for DA4-It would be too long. I think)
Besides, I take no offense to you disagreeing with me-people have differing opinions but it's just unacceptable to shoot down someone else's ideas because they do not agree with yours (not that I am implying you did such a thing!) But back to a subject which you mentioned.
The elven pantheon. (-que lightning strike and organ music-)
In short, that's gonna be a can of worms nobody wants to see-given Flemeth's claims of a reckoning to shake the very heavens and the architect, Solas' endgame can only end in disaster...Especially if they are the archdemons-can you imagine a sixth blight with every.single.one. unleashed at the same time? "Kiss you butt goodbye" wouldn't even cover it. Granted, I'm still getting myself to learn more of the lore of DA recently (particularly elven lore,) but it seems that the world of Thedas in some ways seems to be a shadow of what it once was.
But to mention your previous point concerning the elvish gods, perhaps it's better that they are sealed away.
