After being hit on by Oghren, I wouldn't be surprised if Sigrun DID go for Velanna-Besides, they could learn from each other (Sigurn learning about dalish culture in general and Velanna learning about reproduction of other species).

As for the wardens, I wonder WHAT the head cheese of weisshaupt is like. Given what the likes of an npc stated in origins...he'd be NONE too thrilled by the warden's direction if they are allowed to stay in orlais. God only knows what will occur what WOULD happen should they be banished...

I love Sigrun/Velanna. Cutie pie and grump pairings are a favorite of mine, and I also just like the idea of f/f NPC relationships that are not dysfunctional and gross, lmao.

I kind of hope they're not going to do Wolf Hunt, tbh. I just don't care enough for Solas to spend money on a DLC that is centered around him and my quizzy has enough to worry about without chasing down a guy she barely got along with. On the other hand, if he's trying to bring back the Creators or something, then I should probably get involved - as much as I love the Dalish, something's telling me that their "gods" are better off sealed away. It would be a treat to Solasmancers though, so that would be nice, at least. I think the Solas content should be left for the later games, but that's just me.

Though I really don't want to see any of that (sorry, lol), I agree that DAI needs an Awakenings-like expansion, only with the current companions.

this, for anything like a Wolf Hunt DLC there would need to be some serious motivation (solas trying to bring back the creators and screw everything up, I guess) going on for my character to care enough to go after him

Don't get me wrong, I'd buy it if only to get more Inner Circle content, but still

And unlike Branka, Sigrun WOULDN'T sell out a loved one!

....That mission is second ONLY to those creepy little maggot...THINGS in awakening. <_<

What if there was a Return to Ostwick DLC with lots of race specific content and you got to bet on nug races with Blackwall. shirtless Blackwall.

...this is why I try not to get too excited about DLC I am sure it will be lovely but it can never compare to all the ideas I have, mostly involving nugs and shirtless Blackwall.

So a friend of mine said that Beardless Blackwall with long hair looked like a Scottish Laird you see on the cover of a romance novel.

Now I'm going to photoshop this hard tonight.

I might also toss in a picture of him wearing a yellow plaid kilt and tossing a caber.

DLC Blackwall tossing a caber in the Thedas version of the Scottish Highland games. Bioware plz,  make magic happen.

The big thing is to take your time! It seems like court approval is eroding and ACK!! but if you explore and lose approval, you end up finding enough secrets to make up for any hits. Which I like because it's like "I'm not gonna hang around and play your Game when y'all are so dumb and leave sensitive information EVERYWHERE". But I definitely was all anxious RUN RUN APPROVAL DROPPING HELP the first time so I feel that, hehe.

Speaking of exploration, am I the only one who finds it odd that no one seems to care that the Inquisitor and friends have made themselves at home in the Winter Palace and break into all the locked areas, stealing whatever they please?  I know that trespassing and theft is pretty much expected in RPGs, but I still thought it was kind of funny.

"Oh, Celene.  I broke into the locked vault in your bedroom and found this locket."  I guess Celene's lack of reaction about the trespassing can be dismissed since the Inquisitor possesses some blackmail on her... eh, *shrugs*

I think after 5 playthroughs, I'm getting burned out by DA:I. I'm going to finish off Corypheus tonight (hopefully) and download Mass Effect - which I've never played.

At least I'll finish my Blackwall romance, though I know I'm abandoning my Sera romance.

That bothered me so much. I mean, unless they're leaving Halla statues around as part of the Game, it just seemed dopey.

Haha!

tbh WEWH in general drives me batty, because on paper it's such a perfect quest (politics! intrigue! dancing! resolving the main quest without having to fight, if you play your cards right!) but it just falls apart a lot in execution. Like it probably bothers me more than any main quest (besides not being able to destroy or preserve the well of sorrows but that's a whole nother rant), just because the potential was so great! But it just didn't end up working that way. You just sort of bumble around and hit the search bar a lot and selected the middle dialogue option and boom, you're the master of the Game and get to decide the fate of a nation. Not to mention how underdeveloped I think Celene/Gaspard/Briala were, which led to the whole big choice of the quest being kind of lackluster. I mean, and it's not even a "read the book" situation like it is for people who might be confued about Cole, because so much of what's in the game (esp with Briala) doesn't line up so. Sigh. (I'm being a bit harsh lmao but I really love the idea of it and wish it had been done a bit better)

At least you get a cute dance with Blackwall. :P

Have fun with ME, KS! It's a super fun series. :D I've been staving off burnout mostly by modding and crafting a lot, but idk how long it will last.

It really does fall apart! There needs to be not only more of a tutorial (no one knows what's behind various doors or that there aren't enough hallas to open everything, wtf) and you can't climb on a table without losing points but you can climb up a trellis in front of 100 people?

No one cares that you're skulking about the palace, and I actually think there should be consequences for being too obvious. Like patrolling guards or something.

Not to mention, who wouldn't trick the guards into leaving? So it's really just a moronic non-option.

DA has been the only game series (other than like nintendo game cube games) I've ever finished, so for the last few years I've been battling darkspawn and I think it's time for a change. I just dove headfirst into DA:I and played every day since release. Soooo yep. Silly Dazzle. :P

Esri.

I'm kind of a stickler/nutjob for having characters whose name and looks flow together. What class is your shep?

I think Esri is really pretty too.

I've read that to make sure you can have Blackwall's post-revelation dialogue, you need to make sure you don't exhaust part of his dialogue tree. What tree is that?

The one that's something like "Let's talk about you."

I'm on the fence about my upcoming WEWH for my canon. I don't want her to be a smooth player at The Game, but at the same time, intentionally bombing the responses gives Florianne the lead and she ends up twirling my Cadash around. Noooo. =p I'll have to figure out how many times I can mess up the answers before losing the lead.

One day, modders will figure out how to swap Florianne's model with Blackwall and we can twirl around on the dance floor endlessly. ENDLESSLY.

YES.  I want to watch my Lavellan dip Blackwall on the dance floor.

I think Esri is really pretty too.

There are six classes: soldier (warrior - a lot of pew-pew), biotic (ahem, mage - a lot of space magic, engineer (rogue - a lot of tech tricks) and 3 gybrids: infiltrator (sniper with tech tricks), sentinel (a LOT of magic) and vanguard - suicidal biotic with a shotgun :D). Depends on your playstyle. I loved infiltrator and engineer. :) And vanguard.

While I would love to see Sigrun and Velanna, I find their absence from the Keep disturbing, alas. I agree it's too early for Solas DLC even if they plan it eventually.

About WEWH. The only way to make Gaspard an Emperor is to let Florianne to kill Celine, which makes Inquisitor an accomplice in the murder. The only way to make them work together is to find enough dirt on everyone and bully them in submission (very weak constraction if you ask me, works if you really hate Orlais). So what were your choices for OCW, guys? :)

Well, Anya is diminutive of my name, so   :P  Honestly, Esri fits the setting a bit more, imo.

Ooh, infiltrator sounds interesting. :) Thanks for laying that all out for me!

The keep really didn't say much about Awakening, which made me sad.

I wish there was a way to remove Celene from the throne without killing her, because I said outloud in a ballroom to let Florianne make her move and I felt like a gigantic abettor and it made me feel dirty. Like great way to inspire confidence in the Inquisitor, but no one seems to mind!

I've gone with all the options, multiple times. It just depends on which character I'm playing.

It does seem to, I'm definitely leaning towards Esri.

I find it leaves a sickly aftertaste in my mouth. It's a sappy ending but I always feel as if it's going to end horrifically badly.

I haven't managed to reunite them in my playthroughs so far. 1st one Celene rules alone, Second one I got them all together.  They get the joy of a hung parliment.  Serves them all right.  Next pt Gaspard will rule alone.  Stoopid Orlesians.

@KS - enjoy Mass Effect - it's what bought me to Bioware games and eventually to Dragon Age!

For the record, Vanguard is super fun.  It's like being a battle mage, you get biotics (magic), but also guns (swords!)  Also don't overlook the backgrounds - spacer/colony born/earth born military history war hero/sole survivor/ruthless makes for good rp background stories.
