Oooh, I finally naturally triggered his leaving 5ever conversation with my Cullenmancing Lav (never finished her, trying to do that now, because I want to drink from the Well for reals). He was soooo mad, lmao, and she was like "lol bye" (they never got along). It's so interesting to see him from this angle. I mostly feel bad for Sera. I'll have to eat a lot of cookies with her for chasing away her friend.
Just remember she hates raisin cookies.
You know for all the hate Blackwall gets.. I don't get it myself, he was quite a cool companion even after the reveal to me he was far superior than most others.
I had my Blackwall with Sera a lot so maybe she brought the humor out in him more.
Yeah, Blackwall is a cool dude but I can see how certain PTs especially wouldn't show his interesting/good side...ie, not using him with Sera, not joking around with him, not agreeing with him on things, especially redemption, to the point where he shuts down and gets all angry, etc. But I romanced him with a sarcastic character, always had Sera along, generally got his approval, and chatted with him a lot so I really like him, even on my PTs where mostly all he does is grump and glare at me.

I don't get it myself, either. Earlier there was a topic on BSN in which his past and betrayal have been discussed, and there were so many who wanted to kill him because of his lie and what he did with that family. But most of them was fine with Sten, Leliana, Zevran etc.. He, at least tried to change the errors he made.

@n1mh: If you've played DA:I and none of the ME games I would start with DA:O and get all the insights into DA:I. I haven't finished Morrigans romance yet, but I've done Alistair, Zevran and Leliana and they are all good in different ways. Alistair was my favorite until Blackwall. They are so completely different!
If you play ME...i recommend Kaidan (points to screen name) 
P.S SWtOR has sucked me back into playing even though I swore I would never go back. So, no DA:I lately, but I will get back to Kaia and her man soon!

I'm on Shadowlands but I have some characters that are lowbies on Ebon Hawk. I stopped playing SWtOR before DA:I came out. But I missed Vector. And had to gush on Troy Baker...I mean Theron Shan
Heh, I was fangirling over Corso when I played on my Gunslinger. I know a lot of people think he's preachy and patronizing (which he can be), but his old-fashioned country boy thing had won me over 
I do feel bad for leaving my guild, though I'm sure they're fine without me. I was an officer in the guild and I kind of... stopped playing lol.

I was in the Roughnecks guild. I'm not sure how they're doing now, but they used to rank in the planetary conquests each week. We actually managed to conquer Nar Shaddaa one week . It was fun- and now I'm getting all nostalgic and missing my old guild XD. Hmmm, now I want to play again

@veeia: That's pretty much how I play it as well. The few ppl in the guild with me are from this forum We play together and talk on vent. It's nice and easy going. I like it that way. I spent way too many years hardcoring it up in Guild Wars and World of Warcraft. I prefer it this way now.
Well, my main is a jedi sentinel and her hubby is Doc, of course (because, well, he's like a cross between Han Solo and...Dorian? He's got a moustache anyway - heh). I was/am on Begeren Colony but haven't really played since DA:I came out. Also, because my laptop died, I don't currently have SW:TOR installed.
I either need to drag out my CE where my discs are or I would have to go through the insane process of downloading the whole entire thing...and I kind of don't want to do that (downloading all the updates I would be okay with...downloading the whole game...not so much).
Anyway, back to Blackwall! I started Hushed Whispers a few minute ago, so I should find him again soonish. I meant to start earlier today, but then I got obsessed with clearing out every quest in the Hinterlands that I can do atm - heh.
Wow thank you for the video, I had never seen Blackwall dumping the inquisitor, just one in which he leaves but he wasn't romanced. I see he doesn't take off the damn gambeson not even when he's blowing off steam, it's hopeless 
About 'all the hate Blackwall gets' I try to remember that haters just do a lot of noise but they are not so many. It requires just one user who feels the need to open a new hate-thread and 5-6 people saying he's right to make it look like Blackwall is getting a lot of hate. There are many who like him who don't post threads nor write in the forums, like my bf 
Anyway on tumblr there are everyday new wall-scalers and women in beardlove, it makes me happy 
the hate doesn't bother me at all, haha. i mean sometimes i get all wound up, like a solasesque nerd like THAT'S FACTUALLY INCORRECT AND ALSO ITS NOT THAT SIMPLE, but i don't actually care, i just get mad at bad arguments

I played SWTOR to death when it came out, probably about a year and a half, until GW2 came out and then I played that until DAI. I was so head over heels for Corso! I love the love he's getting here My main is/was a gunslinger, love the wisecracking smart*** characters. I still have a picture of my millennium falcon hovering over an icy world as my desktop picture.
I started all the different characters, but the gunslinger is the only one I maxed out. I am/was on Begeren Colony. Our guild (it's pretty empty now!) was a RP guild. I always meant to go back to play out the stories, since they are all so good. It keeps being hard to play the free version, since it's sooo gimped from how it was when I had a subscription, and half my characters need re-names now!
I finally got time to play a bit of DAI last night, first time this month. For some reason Blackwall is even more attractive on characters I'm not romancing him with. I made Sera and Blackwall matching outfits and brought them with me on Hushed Whispers. We looked so boss walking in to greet Alexius. We needed some theme music to play, as we walked in slo-mo.

I played SWTOR on a Asia-Pacific server until they closed down, never played much after that (mostly on Ebon Hawke)

So Dragon Age: Origins it is. I normally dislike starting a series midway/at the end, but it just happened this way. I was playing MMOs and FPSs with my SO and friends at the time. Since then, we kind of went our own ways with games and I've always loved story driven RPGs and I really like the idea of romance being a part of that as well!
I was also thinking of getting back into SWTOR (I have played KOTOR and SWTOR a little bit before). So much choice so little time >.> I'll try and stick with DA:O for now.
I don't mind the Blackwall "hate" either. It's a very emotional moment in the game for a player to deal with and I've seen plenty of people give Loghain's character a closer look once the rage subsided. They start to understand his character better and so on. Given time, they'll appreciate the layers to Blackwall's arc and how well it works with the overall theme of the game. The only time I dislike the rage is when the player is mad that he/she was denied the right to execute Blackwall personally in the name of justice when it just boils down to wanting to cut in line first. Extraditing Blackwall is an act of compassion or pragmatism, not a front row seat at the gallows. In fact, I saw a tumblr post the other day that had me laughing. This guy went on about how he hated Blackwall from the beginning and the Revelations stuff just made him despise him even more. He was so frustrated that he kept screaming at Blackwall and Blackwall kept giving out approvals, which just enraged him even more. LOL. That was awesome to read.
That's pretty awesome, I also played SWTOR (and WoW) not long before DA:I. I quit both, cause I knew DA:I would take up most of my game playing time.I was right.
