I think warden looked better in the old concept art and basically every piece of fan art I've seen than he does in the game trailer. Most companions came out looking better than I expected, especially Dorian and Sera, but warden was actually worse. 
But it's not like the art is bad as far as actual quality goes. It only matters to me if he's an LI and I wasn't ever really hoping for him to be.

To the BioWare artists responsible for the Warden: Ignore Mort. GW is looking good. Very distinguished and rugged. We need close ups of him at the war table, not Solas again. Make it happen please.

Well, honestly, I would like to see some companions besides Cassandra, Varric, Vivienne and Solas for a change. lol
But I'd rather it was Dorian.

Yes. DHMG would have been good too.
Vivienne is fab, so I always welcome more screenshots of her, but Cass and Varric have had so much of the limelight already. Solas too IMO.
Iron Bull was nice, but he's got his head tilted back again, and he's way in the background, so it is hard to see him clearly. If only he switched places with Varric.
And no Grey Warden in sight.

I take it Varric, Cassandra and Viviene are "the default party", so to speak. They probably join you first and they probably were developed first. Maybe it's just my eyes, but Sera, Warden, Bull and DHMG look rather unfinished work in progress.

I'm thinking the model they showed us in the trailer was a work-in-progress, though. I remember when the companions showed up in a DA2 trailer and there were a few differences from then to finished product.
