Honestly? I closed my working activity in 2012 and tried to find some solace in making art, hanged out at some websites hoping to happily share a passion and make friends. During this period I've improved my bad English and my poor artistic skills, made some friends and I can't complain, but after 3 years I've never been happier with the coming of spring, so many things to do out of doors

I'll keep coming from time to time in this thread  since it's a happy place now, but tumblr just gives me headaches+gastritis, and lately deviantart has become a serpentarium, full of competition and petty behaviours. I'm too old for this ****.

The sun is shining and birds are singing  :wizard:

I must be missing a lot of bad stuff on tumblr because I'm not seeing the hate and stuff unless someone reblogs who I do follow.  I know it's there, but I think I'm successfully skimming over most of it.  Unless I accidentally go a few threads over on BSN and then I get kinda mad.

Like she-Hulk kinda mad.

*continues skipping through fields of daisies, blithely unaware that people want to trash my ship*

Here's an action screenie.

Has it been mentioned that the Inquisition tapestry is now open at the Keep?

I got some shots of the Blackwall tiles I have unlocked: (spoiler tag for minor spoilers at this point, but just in case)

Spoiler

The fact that the sexy biker earring we see in these tiles never made it to the game makes me saaaaaad... :( but damn, even his feature-less tile version is hot.

I do have to laugh at how much people love writing Cullen as the rebound romance, like he's perpetual boy next door nice guy waiting for the girl to get over the "bad boy" so he can swoop in and be her blandaid. I'm not even a huge Cullen fan, and I think he deserves better than that.

Cullen is actually my other favorite romance for Lavellan and darn it's hard to stay away from that barn when romancing him and - of course - vise versa. Both men are just too adorable and delicious for their own good.

If it had, I would have had to find someone to mod it away. I think he would've look too much like a pirate. :D

Oh, oh...Blackwalls barn scene evokes some real-world nostalgia. Also, I found you can avoid the "the Inquisition is corrupt" line from him at the judgment scene. Still no material for my main Inquisitor - too unsophisticated - but at least I can play the romance now and enjoy the parts I like without the desire to slap someone's face.

 I was thinking more that they removed the earring because it made Blackwall look too much like Duncan, but "looks like a pirate" works too.

Close enough? :D

I thought little comments party members have about each other are static. Turned out they are not. First Blackwall said how Leliana makes him nervous and he respects how driven Cassandra is. Now he says that Leliana seems very lonely and he feels sorry for her and that he is afraid for Cassandra when she fights. I love little things like that, they are nice touch. :)

I wonder if his comments about Leliana have anything to do with whether or not she's hardened?

Thanks for sharing the Blackwall tile. That isn't unlocked for me yet. (wtf)

I was shocked when I had 11 copies of my Cadash and one of them said "playthrough 31." I realized it was from all the folder swapping I did when I jumped between characters to check saves and cutscenes. =p

My first DAO game had 1 save file that I kept overwriting as I progressed. It was just habit from saving to the same file from Playstation games. And then when the inevitable trainwrecks started happening at Landsmeet onwards, there was no reloading anything. My first DAI game had 260 saves alone. I have learned my lesson. I'll have to figure out how to clean up that mess at the Keep though!

Hmm, I created Darth Leliana once. I will check it. :)

I'm messing with the Keep now. At least you can delete editable states. No such luck with playthrough states. I'm glad I did not bother to change my characters much. :pinched: Did you always play online?

Yeah, I wouldn't think to log out because I alt-tab between the game and the Origin chatrooms to stay in touch with gamer friends from the Alistair days.

You can try to reload the game, make another save and see if it changes anything.

Poor mages, forever in pyjamas. And male elves are bald.

I really want to know how to delete characters from the Keep...

Does anyone actually call Blackwall "Thom" once you tell him to... y'know... drop the cover and live as Thom Rainier? Or does everyone in-game just continue calling him Blackwall..? XD

I know, right? Especially the end. :D

They continue to call him Blackwall. This is explained away with Blackwall requesting to keep the name as a title to remind him of what he aspires to be. All three Inquisitor responses are varying levels of agreeing to his request.

I checked Evil Leliana version, and it's still the same.

"Leliana is lonely. That's really is all I see. All she has is her work. I pity her sometimes, as odd as it may seem."

Apparentely it doesn't depend on her personal quest, pity. Aww, Leli, but my Warden loves you... sniff.

Blackwall also seemed to be sad about loosing Cullen and Cassandra's trust. And told me hilarious story about playing cards with Solas.

I'm just waiting for the day someone makes a earring mod. I don't know why, but a person in DA that has a single earring somehow magically becomes 50% hotter in my eyes.

Was all this as party banter or private talk?

I absolutely love Blackwall's desert story, which he tells while you're going through the dwarven tombs in Hissing Wastes. It completely hilarious. I really should record the whole thing. ^_^

How do you not get that line?  I think I've gotten it every time!

I hope you and Joe know each other because you are both the "driving this thread to the gutters" ppl that I love

Also, from Vertigo on I ran out of likes so I didn't get to like their post or any after it.  Just know that you ALL have my likes.  Literally!

Thank you: Gilsa, AtreiyaN7, Magdalena11, Sabreeni and Ashelsu for answering my question from yesterday <3

I did download the patch and everything works fine.  I think that something, somewhere along the way has fixed my banter because I seemed to get a fair bit of it last night (because I actually did play!).  She is a character I made after all the other patches.  Maybe that is it?  But she was my Cullen girl because she is a 2h warrior and I haven't played one of those yet so I wanted to give it a whirl.

And on the matter of that confession, here is one I found (think it's from tumblr somewhere, I've had it for some time and switched computers since so I don't remember exactly where I got it :( Sorry!).  But it is pretty much my confession too:

I'm a little late to the party but,

Also, while I'm okay with gates based on sexuality, race restrictions make me icky. I know it's probably resources mostly, but still I don't like Cullen and Solas even more after that. It was done much better with Sera. She has her preferences, but you still can work it out.

Race-gating is pretty disgusting,IMO. It makes me think Cullen and Solas are bigots and racists. I love Solas, I really do. But it took me FOREVER to decide if I really wanted to romance him because of this. I just can't believe attraction solely depends on a pair of pointy ears, because that's all that is different between humans and elves and Dwarves are just short humans (as far as looks goes),Qunari are big humans with horns. I just always thought our characters were unique and special (call em Mary Sues, it's probably true), shouldn't the potential LI's see past the physical (Especially, Solas, of all people)?  Bah, this topic just really really bothers me, so I'm gonna quit while I'm ahead. I just hope race-gating was only because of the lack of resources.

Sadly the drawing is not mine and I had to stumble into too many Blackwall-hate crap to find this gem in the blackwall tag on tumblr, so this is really the last time I will go in the ****** blackwall tag on ****** tumblr -.-

Pretty sure (like 99.9999999%) that it was just lack of resources. Word has it that Cullen was supposed to be bi-sexual, but cinedesigner didn't have time for the male side of things. They put in some serious overtime to make Iron Bull work for all the races and that's one of the reasons why I like IB's romance so much. IB is not the traditional "romance book" character, but it is so clear with his character that he doesn't care about races, sexuality, whatever. And I can tell they put in extra work for the dwarves because the cutscenes are better than the ones I see for Blackwall/Cadash. And the epilogue is my favorite because you can tell they tried to figure that part out and then just said, **** it, put a barrel there. They just owned it instead of having Cadash mysteriously grow at that part.

I never understood why Solas was race-gated. There's no option to flirt with him in the game so no chance for rejection. He's forever the Lone Wolf.

There should have been at least one option where we don't agree and refer to him by his actual name.
