Hi guys! Just finished my Blackwall romance playthrough with a Cadash and i really loved it  ! I thought I'd share with you  ! So here`s my favorite romance moments:

I had passed on the link to this tumblr blackwall page about one week ago but went unnoticed

I have link blindness! =p I've enjoyed all the Blackwall art you've been reposting. It's funny, I've put in for a couple fun commissions of my Cadash, but not with Blackwall because I have no idea how I'd want them presented. I have a good picture of my Cadash's personality, but not Blackwall's because he's so entwined with the Grey Warden persona. I don't want a rocking horse in my commissions, dammit. =p

Anyway, I've FINALLY finished my main (and probably only) playthrough and Maker, is this game massive. I don't think I can take another one, at least in the near future. The good thing is that I got these wonderful shots from the endgame~

Dudes I saw the most amazing Blackwall cosplay this weekend, I flipped. It's great.

But I found this album of shots here that I highly recommend checking out. He didn't make the Wedge of Destiny, I think it was the Dorian cosplayer in that pic who did? I wasn't around long enough at the Bioware meetup (like literally 1 minute I just ducked in because I heard about the Blackwall cosplayer) so I didn't really talk to him, but I asked around so I could credit him and the twitter of the guy is @smidgemcduff and his name is Rob Doran

I LOOOOVE this picture so much. I love his frowny expression while holding up a flower to his beard. The fandom loves to decorate Blackwall in flowers and this photo cracks me up.

The Seattle DA/ME cosplay scene is huge, it was super cool to see so many awesome costumes even at a con where Bioware had no official presence. People are so creative and wonderful. Like there was this intensely amazing Corypheus there (you can see in this photoset which has a lot of other awesome ones in it). It's very revitalizing, even as someone who has never cosplayed, to be around because there's just pure enthusiasm and excitement for all the characters and the game, and I was feeling a bit burnt out, both on the game and on the negativity, so I really loved it all.

You know why that is, right? Cullen and Iron Bull can be intimidating because of their aloofness (Cullen) and their size (IB. I mean size in general, but there's that too.). Blackwall is more approachable and friendly. Basically: Blackwall is more interesting to shy types. i.e wallflowers. *runs away*

Hey, the wallflower angle is a good way to look at it! I just figured that it was tied in to the ardent blossom crown, his general hippy-ness, the flowers he gathered for Josephine, etc. If anyone on the cast was most likely to wear flowers and take it all in stride, it would be Blackwall.

On the subject of beardy men who kinda look like Blackwall, the broodier, beardier, drunker, and more depressing Rollo Lothbrok in Vikings gets, the more I'm convinced he's a perfect depiction of what Thom Rainier would probably look like right now if the real Blackwall never found him.

How many have finished the dlc?  I finally finished it.  My save corrupted twice.  That was fun ...not really.  I'll put dlc stuffs in a spoiler tag in case some haven't finished it yet.

The area was beautiful.  The side quests were...better.  The avvar were interesting.  Ameridan stuff was great.  All in all though I was kind of disappointed because no new interactions with LI or companions aside from a few comments from them about the area and sometimes what was going on.  I prefer more story heavy stuff to what we got.  But it was okay.  Maybe I'm just being lamity lame though.  *shrugs*

 

Miss you guys!  I only got a couple ss from the dlc.  One is my inq with her flower crown *snicker* and one of the snowman.  I'll try to get a pretty Blackwall next time though!
