@kai: Yeah, I kind of meant to try the Cullen thing out at first because my mage Warden like him way back in DA:O form. Only I ran into Blackwall and flirted and then couldn't stop flirting with him; he gets so flustered after that one comment about your private quarters back in Haven that resistance was basically futile at that point for me - lol.

EDIT: I thought Gino was stuffy at first, but I really liked him by the end of S1 (if you've watched the whole thing, that scene with Gino and Masaoka...augh!).

I remember that dialogue. I laughed so hard I cried after he got so flustered.

And that scene with Masaoka and Gino was heart wrenching! I don't normally cry watching tv shows but that had me in tears. And I really liked Masaoka right off the bat.

I finally upgraded from PS3 to PS4, so I had to get Game of the Year Edition and start from scratch.
I'm currently between Here Lies the Abyss and Halamshiral, and enjoying Blackwall (and the entire game) in all the glory it was meant to be. On top of that, this was my first time trying a custom world state since I've now played DAO and DA2. All that considered, it's like a new game!

I can't wait until Trespasser! I've spoiled myself already, but itll be great to see *my* Inquisitor see it through.

And Thom looks great in the Avvar armor I was never able to use before.

Count me among the new Blackwall fans. I love this guy. He's invincible as a tank, and he's a Grey Warden who seems to agree with every decision I make. Blackwall is awesome!

Beard boyfriends. It's always bothered me that you can't even flirt with him (nor Solas, I think?) as a dude. All the other characters will let you down gently if you haven't got the right bits...

Only female elves can flirt with Solas, and male characters can't flirt with Blackwall. Which always struck me as weird - how does the Inquisitor magically know what they're into without asking?! See also the fact that you can't flirt with Varric at all. (Even Hawke could do that!)

Welcome! There are probably a few surprises in store for you, but if you and Blackwall are simpatico on the big issues, you should weather those surprises with your friendship intact.

Equally adorable, in my opinion. The dwarf pairing may be *slightly* cuter, just because lady dwarfs, in general, tend to be cute.
My personal favorite is a dainty, lithe Lavellan with a not-so-dainty Blackwall. But that's just me!

I'm relatively new to DAI, but Blackwall is one of my favorite characters. I'm looking forward to romance him with my female elven mage  - Iwas aiming for Solas with her, because he is an intersting character too, but he is no Blackwall. It's funny, you have six romance options as a female elf - and all of them sound kind of interesting , but I thinkI stick with Blackwall for some playthroughs (if I would play a male character, Dorian would be tempting too, but I prefer playing my own gender)

Blackwall was my first romance choice on my first playthrough as a Qunari lady Inquisitor. It does have a good story.
