Between this, Dakkun's latest piece, and other GW fan art that has surfaced recently, I am so glad I jumped on the Bara Warden train. See, trailers do work! :3

OMG the girls were actually in the bushes!? XD My fan fic came true! (minus the musical number ) This has made my day, love it! I lost it when I saw GW's bucket placement.
 

 

Hehe, when the preview panel made their rounds, I was chuckling when people remarked about the GW's bucket, like how charming it is that he brings around shampoo and soap to share with a delighted Varric. Now y'all know it's there for a reason. A big reason *snort*

Short answer: Just because?

 

As for the black skin tone question, not hard at all as the Vivienne fan art I've done to date has shown, but since my shoulder and arm is hurting from my illustration day job that I just want this weeks-long fan comic out of my system, perhaps I can just this once not shade in her or any of the other POC characters in the comic like Cassandra, DHMG, Iron Bull, and my own Austronesian Inquisitor.

 

Vivienne's clearly-defined Afro facial structure and features should communicate her ethnicity well enough, right?

Mysterious Bearded (English) Tom Waits! I'm so curious about what details all shake out at E3. People have so many questions about so many aspects of the game but I'm definitely hoping there's a healthy dose of character information amongst all the other DAI news.

Romancable characters are always nice, but what I care more about is the Bearded Warden actually being a solid, multidimensional person. Someone who is actually a believable character and not someone who purely exists to serve as an "idealogical guideline" to the player character, in this case with him (possibly) representing the Wardens.

Making him and his entire dialog focusing solely on the Wardens, their goals, motivations, past, etc will make the Warden Companion a "beacon" for the player to delve deeper into the Wardens, forgetting completely about the character itself, about his characterization and so forth. This has happened in the past (namely DA2) and is something I do not wish to happen again.

I actually think he has as good a chance as Solas or Dorian of being a LI. He's human, so there won't be drastic height differences as there would be for Varric or Iron Bull. Both Beardy and Solas aren't exactly your traditional looking LI, so it could be either one of them. Then again, you could say Solas is a shoo-in because he's an elf; then it's simply between the two humans, Dorian and Beardy. Remember also that Solas and Dorian are both mages... would they make our only non-NPC male romances both mages? We shall see.
