The Michel as the Grey Warden theory feels very forced, disjointed and pointlessly complex.  Why derail Michel's story when Mr. Weekes just spent 380 pages refining it?

I know the theory is more than likely wrong. I like it because there is nothing to talk about with this character let. And, if all we talk about is how much we want him as a LI. It will start to get really sad and dark when the topic turn to his HIV/cancer like death from being a warden in his 40's-50's. And, watching you lover die is a whole lot harder than dying together in battle.

Do eeeet!  You can easily read TME without having read the Stolen Throne or the Calling.

 

I know the theory is more than likely wrong. I like it because there is nothing to talk about with this character let. And, if all we talk about is how much we want him as a LI. Oh please, it takes more than that to get under my skin. I know the theory is just people placing a man with no time with look alike with more time. Plus, Michel has pot holes after the book that are fun to play with.

If GW is a LI, then IB isn't. If IB is LI, then GW isn't. And I like them both

I thought the grey made him look distinguished, but the black makes him look younger and tougher. I wonder if that was to reflect how they wrote the character?

This. And honestly, we have enough people around to provide exposition on the Orlesian court. We've never had a senior warden around for a whole game so I'm intrigued by what he has to say about the order. Maybe I missed a description of him but I didn't ever get the impression that Ser Michel had much facial hair, if any.

Awesome. I can´t help myself but he looks a bit like a updated and older version of Stroud.

By the way Kenny from the The Walking Dead started also with a mustache and has now a full beard.

Wouldn't be opposed to the warden being Stroud. Almost nothing was said about him in DA2. Like Ser Michel, even if he isn't the warden companion, I think he's gonna make an appearance.

I agree. The more original/new characters, the better. Thedas is a big world and it's nice to see different personalities/points of view.
